John, mine is satin. I think you will like it better than the extra one I have.

Thanks, Sandy. I ordered it in Satin. Also, I see Brad got the covers ..

If I still was into high performance computers and case modding I would probably consider your services for more than just the cam covers.

Anyways, here is a picture of my work station. I run on a watercooled CPU, Northbridge and Hard Drives.

Back to topic... Morris and Hatchman, if you have any input on my cam covers please do so in... http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=43023

Yep, Kevin does other parts as well. Here's a set of wheels he did for me, they used to be dark brake dust grey. Cost is $110 for motorycle rims, I gave him $120 for these since I know the candy is a two coat process. But they look great, even thought the garage is a little dark and pics aren't that good.

It's Candy Blue

Has anyone been able to remove those rubber grommits prior to painting/powdercoating? I'm talking about the ones where the VCT plugs in on either cover. They look like they should be able to come off, but they are stuck in there pretty good. Sorry if this has been addressed somewhere in this thread already and I missed it. I bought an extra set from Ford and I'm in the process of smoothing out the casting marks and I would really like to remove as many parts as possible prior to coating. Thanks!

You just need to knock them out from the inside of the cover. They're in there tight, but will come out with a few good hits.

I used a large socket and a nail hammer and they came right out. They went right back in with the socket and hammer.
