Hey, It's the PC dude!!!!! :worship: darn Kevin, you really do exist!!! We kept thinking Brad had this big underground operation going on with code names and such. He keeps talking about the "PC" (Powder Cover) guy down the street and we're thinking there's this big clandestine operation going on.

Seriously though, your work is amazing. As you can see from everyone's pictures, your work has transformed our vehicles and given them that "special touch". We all appreciate what you and Brad are doing for us, and at such a reasonable price. :worship:

Have a Merry X-Mas!!! :flag2:
Scramblr,

Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. It's great when customers are truly satisfied with your work!

And in all honesty......my name isn't really Kevin and I don't really do powder coating. I'm actually just a front for..................wait, if I tell you anymore I'll have to kill you. LOL!!

You and your family have a great Christmas also!

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks, that make me breath a bit easier. I may go ahead and remove the battery and tray when I install the passenger side. That may give the extra clearance I want. I think I will try the cloth idea on the install.

Hey Kevin, I am almost up. Going for gold metal flake. Black engine compartment. Wadda ya think? Man you do a great job. Where is your son stationed? Tell him we appreciate him and respect what he is doing. Sandyman, 82nd Airborne 1961-1964.
Sandy,
Are you going with black covers with gold flake or Gold covers with gold flakes? Either way I think that the gold against that black will look really nice. In fact I can't wait to see pictures after they are installed!!

My son is stationed out in CA at Camp Pendleton for now. His Recon Unit is being deployed sometime in Feb '06 to Iraq. I'm very proud of him....but he's still my kid and it worries me to death thinking about him going over there ya know.

Scramblr brought this thread to our attention over at AFM and I would like in if possible. I have spend quite a bit of time reading info on this forum, but have found it difficult to keep up with multiple forums. I have a WB '06 that I store all winter, so if I may I could send mine in leaving my car "valve coverless". Please let me know.
Maybe it would be easiest to ship to the shop directly.

Thanks

I did remove the battery to get to the back bolts, but did not find it necessary to remove the tray. Obviously do what makes it easier for you. Let us know how the cloth idea works in-case I have to remove mine again in the future.

I figured it was something like that. I noticed the difference but knew you were the same guy.

Kevin, I understand your concern for your son, I would be too. They get great training today and they all look out for each other. We support our troops.

I have had my radiator cover and CAI tube painted satin silver and my plenum cover is silver with hireman flames. I should probably go with the silver on the covers but i somehow think metalic gold would look good. opinions???

I've talked to others who removed the batter and tray, and had no problems. They will go on and off without it, but I'm sure removing the batt/tray makes it easier. And I wrapped mine in a towel while installing as well, no scratches or problems.

JMO, I would go with gold. Reason is blend in factor.

My covers and TBS tend to blend in with the all the aluminum bits, fuel rails, and anything else aluminum colored under the hood. If they were the only thing done under the hood, they would stand out more, but they are sort of subdued under all the wiring and all of the bright aluminum cap covers. Also, with Hireman flames, you'll need something a little different to even notice the cam covers, because Hireman's stuff just catches you're eye and you're like DANG!

Just my opinion, anything is a million times better than stock.

I'd like to put my name on the list as well, your covers are turning out extremely nice.

I'm just worried about what color I want. Maybe I should've gone with Black instead of my Windveil Blue. Finding non-custom parts to match is becoming quite the chore. Maybe a dark grey would fit nicely.

I definately want a pair, though. I figure by the time you get down the list to me I'll know what I want.

Krazed, welcome to the site! And I got you on the list. It may be a few months before we get to you, so no hurry on the color choice

Just a note, Kevin says for metal flake, he'll have to add a little bit to the price, maybe around $20, which is what his cost is on the stuff. But, he is not charging us extra for the special candy coats and the higher grade colors like Super Mirror Red, which cost more than his regular colors, but he's keeping the price the same for all colors, which is pretty cool of him. So just a note, 20 bucks extra for metal flake.

Eleanor Dreaming, looking for your covers in the mail and I copy the color change

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I really appreciate it! and Merry Christmas!

I PM'd hatchman as well, but want a few opinions on color..I really like the Red+Metal Flake as well as a Gloss Black to match the Saleen SC... Opinions please

I think the red w/ metal flake would look killer. It would really make the SC stand out. Man that is so sweet. Nice ride too.
