Wow, those things look great! I really didn't need to see those pics though My wife would Baker-Act me if I swapped out my cam covers again!
Me, too!!!!

They remind me of the 1965 Mustang one-year only gold color valve covers - although these are mucho more beautiful. My problem is that if I went with Gold cam covers, I would have to change the plenum cover, then the JLT pipe, The UPR bolt covers . . . OMG - can you say $$$$$$!!!!

I think I'll stay with the satin look!

I have a question about this.
Please keep in mind I'm not trying to highjack this thread or "cut in line" but because my car is off the road for the winter can I just take my covers off and send them in, I don't need to wait for the swapping of covers.

Also I had painted my covers but becuase of the brake fluid cap leaking it ruined the driver side cover (not a happy camper that day) Will this change the price? If so by how much.

Sorry if this has been answered before I just didnt search through all 18 pages

Glad you got them and like them. They are beautiful!

Yes, you got the new version of "The Box". This one is a little more sturdy. The first "The Box" got oil saturated and had to be retired.
Please, everyone, don't forget to spray out the inside of your covers with a garden hose and a little cleaner/degreaser before you send them back. Thanks!

Well this looks like it is working out great!! Count me in... I'm getting my heads ported and polished soon along with new cam's so what better way to top them off, than with some good looking valve covers. I want the Ford GT Wrinkle Blue finish. Can lettering be done? It looked like some of the foreign covers had lettering done...

I have the driver side cam cover off The gasket stayed on the head and it is held there in two spots. Question, before i tear it up is Do you pull the gasket off and put it on the cover to replace it or vis versa. I'll pull the passenger side off until someone tells me TIA

Sorry for the late repley. Yes, I tore mine to get it off, and it seals back up fine, it's gasket on gasket, so no problem.

The lettering on the Neon valve covers is already there, so no way really to get that on our smooth covers. So do you want to send in your own covers while your heads are getting done? That could save you months of waiting on the list for the core swap if you do. And not sure if Kevin can do the exact Ford GT Wrinkle Blue, but I'll see if he can find something close.

That's cool on the lettering, I wasn't sure. I bought an extra set of heads to have the work done to. It will be a while on the head work so I'm in no hurry... You can add me to the list and if things go faster than expected I'll let you know and send mine in.

[attachmentid=42967]Got the covers yesterday late and my son and I installed them today. The old covers are cleaned and repackaged and ready to send back. Tomorrow is MLK day so it may be Tuesday before they can be sent to Brad. I will call them tomorrow. Got some pics but we lost the sun so I will post a few more when the opportunity permits. I am also going to post a few pics of my son's 1968 Corvette. He has an F250 so he is really a Ford man at heart. The covers really look great and you just have to see them in person to really appreciate what Kevin did.
