My vote also goes to Lita Ford... However, if we're going by just looks alone? Reba is the clear winner in present day 2023 whereas back in the 70s 80s and 90's era Lita Ford was an absolute bombshell
I still can't get used to the backup cameras and I've had the Jeep 8 years. I like being able to see out the windows and mirrors like I can in my old explorers.
Not to mention this Shelby, I can't see s**t out of it backwards between the big spoiler and Gurney flap on it with the handling package and low roof and quarter windows.
You sure he was talking about the Bronco being pretty?
I'm in the same boat as you Lee, as I also can't get accustomed to backup cameras in the 2020 Escape... I suppose that I just don't feel quite comfortable enough in trusting them, especially when it comes to backing up in between other vehicles, but rather feel much more confident with being able to see out the windows and mirrors as with my "06" GT.

And I’m positive he was talking about the Bronco. Still working out a name for her. Leaning toward Lita (with my love of 80’s hair bands, lol) or maybe Reba.
Like yourself, the only thing I do like about the backup cameras is when it comes to distances behind me when backing out from parking lots, but other than that, I much prefer relying upon seeing out the windows and mirrors.

No way you're getting 80s hair in this thing
Hey there Lee! If you really feel your S550 Shelby GT500 is so cramped inside when compared to your previous S197 Mustangs? I'll gladly swap you my "06" GT for your "22" GT500 car for car, straight up.

The one on the Jeep is virtually useless at night in a rural area like I live in with no street lights or anything. You can't see 5 feet behind you with it in the pitch dark. It's so bad that at one point I thought about buying some of those small square off-road led lights and putting them under the rear and switching them off the backup lights.
But I don't drive at night very often anymore, so I just live with it.
If they want to put a camera on the Shelby, they should put one on the front so you can see if the splitter is going to hit something. Just like the rear, can't see anything over that hood bulge and vents in the middle.
Don't know if anyone else has been in one, but you can't see anything past the middle of the hood, couple feet from the cowl. A lot different than my friends GT.
as much as I love your car, I'm gonna have to pass on the offer to trade. Don't think it would be fiscally responsible, and I'm not a liberal lol.

My night vision has also got worse thru the years as well... It really sucks having to now leave car meet events before it gets dark, especially during the summertime months when we all enjoy hanging out together beyond 9PM... On a much lighter note, I'm also not a liberal either, never have been for that matter.... But can't blame a guy for trying with the trade proposal offer I provided
I bet 4 would be awesome especially if they all hook up!
If you ever get the chance to go you won’t be disappointed!

I don’t like to drive at night anymore either. If it is well lit and not raining I will, but if it’s raining you can forget it. My astigmatism when it’s dark and raining is downright scary. If I can follow someone’s taillights it’s better but still scary! All I see is a big blob of headlights coming at me and I can’t see the lines on the road.

This getting old stuff sucks!
I try to avoid driving the Explorers at night unless it's a short quick trip. I will NOT drive them at night in the rain.
I can still drive the Jeep at night pretty well, even in the rain. But I have to give them credit, it's got really good HID lights and they move up and down on hills to stay in the same spot, and side to side with the angle of the of the steering around corners.

They must be much better than in the Wrangler’s then, because they didn’t help me at all

Worse part about driving at night anymore is when getting blindsided by oncoming traffic... I don't know if they have their high-beams on or if they're running HID's? All I know is the glare is so intense that it obstructs my vision to the point where I'm unable to see which part of the road I'm still on that scares me to death for fear that I may end up crashing into oncoming traffic or wind up somewhere off the road in a friggin ditch!!!! And yes, this getting old stuff most definitely sucks.
