Wow, so scary! I’m glad to know she will be ok and wishing her a speedy recovery! Nice idea from Kevin to save something from the car. Maybe you can salvage a Fusion or Ford emblem.

Gary! Very sorry to find out about your daughter being involved in that horrific accident.... Although I feel very bad for the 7-year-old in the other car, I do not feel in the least bit sorry for the other driver, as the other driver was clearly at fault for going through that stop sign which could had prevented those serious injuries to the other 3 and most importantly could have prevented your daughter's injuries...
In the meantime, I do hope that your daughter and those involved in the other car, especially the 7-year-old make a fast and speedy recovery, but I hope the driver of the other car faces the maximum judgment allowed for his/her actions permitted under the law... I also realize how heartbroken your daughter must be feeling knowing that her 2011 Ford Fusion was given to her by her late grandfather, but eventually she'll come to realize that the Fusion saved her life, while at the same time her grandfather was watching over her, protecting her as well... Needless to say, after looking at the images of the other car involved, the first thing that came to mind was how anybody could possibly survive such a horrifying collision like that, but just thankful they all did!

The condition of the two cars look like would be a fatal accident for the occupants. The engineering of our modern cars is truly amazing to have survivors of this crash. Hope your daughter's injuries will heal quickly and correctly. My heart goes out to all involved and hope they will be alright.

Thanks, her update is obviously she's sore but no surgeries are needed and she's healing. The other family for what I can learn will all be ok as well. My cousin who was an EMT for many years agrees that just looking at the cars conditions usually had fatalities involved. The actual drivers door opened and closed like butter. The car absolutely did its job thank the good Lord and Ford for the protection.
