That's good to hear, except for his car. Did you get to see what I was talking about the swiveling hood pin studs? Any thoughts on the front wickers above?

I did and I think because the pin is recessed meaning the hoods are molded with the provision in them that it's necessary due to production variance allowances for the pin to swivel. If it was mounted the way the Quik-latch product is initially designed and sold to the public then they would have a fit and finish nightmare on their hands on the assembly line. I've noticed a LOT of variances in the rear of all the S550 cars with the trunk lid trim panel and how they align with the tail lights when closed. I just fixed a rear ended 2016 Mustang and the line up is absolutely perfect on the car I fixed...yet my own 20, customers 21 at the shop now and a 17 GT350 that was in yesterday all show different alignment variances and none of them are perfect and those cars have never been wrecked. Now my OCD is driving me nuts about my car not lining up perfect...lol.

As far as the wickers go...it's personal preference. I would probably install them because it's the way the car was designed...it will create more work when cleaning but I don't think they should snag on anything. However your car is going to stay pretty clean, not like you are driving it daily in all weather conditions so it shouldn't be bad to keep clean.

I’m so disappointed I can’t get Rapid Red! So 😍.

But I finally got a scheduled date so fingers crossed it stays on schedule!

That's great news Jill! Hope everything goes well, sucks about the rapid red though. I was a bit unsure about the RR with white stripes because pretty much all of them have black. But everytime I see it in the garage the better it looks, glad I did now. Especially since so few of them are in that combo.

Thanks! It I’ll be nice to be back in a Bronco again but I still wish I had a 1st gen…..that would be my dream 😁

And I’ll bet yours looks much better in the sun than the garage. I know my Mustang still looks really good when it’s clean and the sun is shining on it!

Night and day difference. How much darker the color is inside compared to in the sun is drastic, many shades different.

In the garage it looks close to the 91 lx 5.0 I bought new, it was wild strawberry. Outside, totally different.

You see so few Wild strawberry Mustangs anymore, we are currently building a wild Strawberry coupe in the shop.

I always loved that color, soon as I saw it on the lot I knew immediately it was the one. I think it's one of the reasons I was so drawn to rapid red.

I'd like to see a Fox in RR.

I'm sure you've seen this commercial, but I noticed immediately that the dog's name on his tag is the same font as the Jeep logos. Wondering if anyone else does. Thought it was a cool touch from the marketing group that did it.

Hope everyone is doing well! Won't be long now and I hope she ships here fast! Sold the Jeep to Carvana last week and made out much better than I thought I would. So that's a plus!

Lee, my friend took her GT500 to the track for her first time and had an awesome run!

That's awesome about your friend, that thing is fast! Not to mention plenty more left in it with more experience probably.

That's really great news indeed! Hopefully you won't have to wait very long for delivery... Also, congrats on your friend Stephanie's awesome run at the track with her GT500
