Yeah, my 2011 RS Camaro had HUD. It's the ONE thing I miss about that car.

I'd like to see electronically adjustable shocks, but it would be too expensive to include as standard equipment on all Mustangs. Make them standard on the GT500 (and Boss/Bullitt/Mach 1/whatever) and an option on the GT.

As much as I loved and miss the HUD from the Camaro, I would be happy if the My Color would change the center cluster as well.

The combination of MyColor and HUD would be fantastic. I could then live with IRS in the Mustang . Well, maybe.

They would probably be bundled with some sort of package like a track pack sort of deal - Given that the next gen car is IRS it would be nice to see a 6 pot/4 pot Brembo package coupled with electronically adjustable shocks and a really nice tire and wheel package with the torsen diff thrown in for a a not unreasonable price.

Also next gen GT500 or Cobra and Boss replacement, it would be nice to see two-piece brakes all the way around to save some unsprung weight and add even more visual excitement. Added bonus with floating two-piece brakes, you never have to worry about warped rotors or fried bearings.

I still say a starting price below $20k would be my first choice.

Or bring back the GTS.

Ford.com shows the starting price of the mustang is $22,200. I just went to Autotrader.com and did a search for brand new Mustangs under $20,000 and it reported 29 listings. I know you meant you want the MSRP to be under $20K, but still, you CAN get a brand new Mustang for under 20.

I like those numbers except the cobra. The top dog mustang should equal if not surpass the gt500 's 662hp

There's going to be a point where that isn't feasable.

Let's say they do make the platform lighter, it doesn't need to exceed.
Look at how well the BOSS 302 performs by comparison.

Aftermarket/Ford Racing will always be happy to oblige

As long as Ford keeps giving us a good starting point, I'm all for it.

Also, if the new body produces less drag, that's like free horsepower.

I just hope they don't ditch the awesome 5.8 in the GT500 after just 2 model years like the 03-04 supercharged 4.6.
