SMG..I'd buy that.
I love a good manual transmission, but in days when the traffic is heavy.. I want to cut my leg off after.

Lol I'm sorry pat but this.

Why can't they make a "simulated" manual? Where it has a clutch pedal and stick shift that is all drive by wire. Push a button on the dash and BAM full auto.

People would probably complain but you could still have the feeling of a stick with benefits of an auto

Too complicated. The paddle shifters are okay if done right, but I don't want them. At least not in my car - maybe in the wifey's car, but hopefully I marry someone who drives stick, and likes it.

Well if they retain the current car's wheelbase with inclusion of IRS, that might be a possibility however slight it may be.

I wouldn't count on a meaningful increase though without Mustang ballooning up to Challenger sized proportions.

Sometimes just the packaging of the rear seat makes a difference. I've been in the back seat of a GT-R and it is set deep set so u have headroom. It's not perfect but roomy for a coupe

$2,000. Yes, it's much larger than a sunroof/moonroof. And no moving mechanical things to go wrong. But $2k is a lot to pay for a "luxury" item.

I never understood Ford's logic in not offering a sunroof. The original argument before the glass roof was that it would hurt convertible sales. I'd rather have a moon roof over the optional glass roof we have now. Perhaps Ford will offer it since GM and mopar does. For my future mustang suggestion I say more standard performance parts like brembo brakes. If these brakes are made standard it will be a better overall value. The camaro SS is priced similarly to the gt and offers brembos as standard equipment.

+1

Not only does the Camaro SS have Brembos, they're on all 4 corners.

Are the current HP ratings different for manual and auto transmission cars?

Noooo! Glass roof > sunroof. I've had both and I can never go back.

It's probably the number one thing people notice in the car. I love the cockpit like feel

This. And I have a sunroof now. Hardly ever open it - just creates wind noise AND drag. I want my Glass Roof to sit there and look pretty

That being said, I wish they could lower the cost on the option being that it DOESN'T open. I'd say $1249-1500 is more reasonable and the take rate would probably be a lot higher at that price.

I hope they will lower the cost too. They're on more Fords/Lincolns now and on other cars too.

Hopefully that's a good sign they will be cheaper next go-round

I want one thing only, a closed rear caliper so it looks like it has real brakes, the brembos up front look great now how about giving us a rear brake that looks normal and not like one we stole from a bmx bike.

Ok this is my list of improvements I'd like.

1.make the brembo brake package standard for all V8-Mustangs

2. put the rear antenna into the rear glass, my mother's 2003 Camry has it, why doesn't the Mustang.

3. an optional AWD system would be great, like the system that is currently on the G37 and Charger. It is RWD most of the time and kicks power to the front when traction is needed.

4. a moon roof option, I'd personally like this over the glass roof offered now

5. I know this is not meant to be a true 4 passenger car but s slightly bigger rear seat would be great. I'm 6'1 200+lbs and I still can fit comfortably in the back seat on my friend's 2009 Accord Coupe, it's roughly the same size as the mustang so it could be done.

I the AWD will make it waste more gas and make it heavier.

I said optional, if you don't want it don't choose the option. By the same logic isn't a convertible heavier and worse on gas? I'd personally take the hit on gas and performance dip if I could easily drive my car in snowy conditions without it being a pain in the neck.

I hope Ford never gives the Mustang the option of AWD. It's not what it's made for. And, it has never it's history been anything but RWD. Like I said with the rumored sedan Mustang, make it, but don't call it the Mustang.
