Hah, two things you can pry from my cold dead hands - my ignition key and my large Moe's cup o' tea.

A relatively subtle nod to the 1970 vents seen on the outside of the headlamp (one which about 99% of the population wouldn't link to the '70 model). DRLs are becoming a signature styling cue, which I think BMW kicked off with their halo/angel eyes, and most manufacturers are following, especially Audi.

With the '15 likely to be much less retro than the current car, it'd be great if this styling cue could continue, albeit in a different headlight design.

Oh wow, good catch! I totally see what you mean!

A true annoyance I've discovered: There is no real "accessory" position. You have to turn it all the way to "run" to bring up all the displays - so also the climate system, the MPG counter, trip timer . . . that's just dumb. Especially on the NAV equipped cars, that's where all of the info resides.

Just checked Borg Warner's site and no manual transmisisons, otherwise its hencho en mexico (I think Tremec purchased B&W's manual transmission stuff) or product of china.

Its interesting to note in a thread over in the Boss section that some of the Boss guys dont feel the Getrag shifts all that smoothly?

Ford's been using EPAS in the Mustang since the 2011 models, isn't that essentially the same thing?

No, with EPAS the steering wheel is still physically connected to the steering rack. It simply replaces the hydraulic power steering assist with electric assist.

The drive by wire is more like a video game. You turn the steering wheel and sensors interpret this motion and instruct an electric motor to actually steer the car.

I'll like to see a double wet clutch transmission and launch control on the lower end V8 for the Mustang.
I think something similar to GM's magnetic ride control would be pretty awesome too.

Pass on the DSG if it replaces the manual. The slush box can go though if Ford were to offer a DSG since the hydraulic automatic would be a redundant feature.

Magneto dampers would be cool and I can't remember who GM licenses the technology from ( in the same way Ford licences the cam phasing mechanism on the coyote) but that license is probably exclusive to GM for awhile.

Both items are hella expensive though ( see the magneto shock option on the vette) as is a DSG that can handle high amounts of torque in a heavy car.

If Ford is hell bent on moving Mustang upscale ( direct competitor to the M3 in materials, refinement, and price) they would make sense across the line, otherwise really not suited to Mustangs mission which has been style and performance at an affordable price.
