The biggest improvment I want in the 50th is a cheaper price. yes I know you pay what you get for, but the Mustang is almost getting to the point of not being afforable. My GT sticker was $38k. The base price of a new GT premium is $35. add a couple options and it is over $40k. Im sorry but what happened to the Stang being afforable?

For Next Mustang:
lighter 3300lbs or less without adding to base price
sleeker, wider, lower
2 plus 2 seating to remain, lose the rear seat headrests
tasteful led lighting like audi's
wider wheels available for rear
dark metallic green an option
hidden antenna(in rear window?)
tail lights similar to 2013's
clean, strong, and simple lines (bottom skirting shouldn't look like an afterthought)
slightly shorter overhangs past the front and rear wheels compared to current model
don't increase price

Have you ever looked at one of the cheapened up Passat? Wow they are awful. You can see some serious corner cutting on the entry level model. By the time you get a comparably optioned car to something else in it's class, you're right back up to the mid 20s.
Something I'd love to see: full length console going into the back seats. The RX-8 had this and I loved it from a design perspective. Besides, more storage wouldn't be a bad thing.

Although I do agree some of the corners cut are things everyone here is asking for so look for the price of the stang to go UP. not down.
VW cut off, Hood pistons on and went back to prop rod. hidden trunk hinges and went back to cargo crushers. Lots of little thing that saved big money , But cut over all experience.

Dang it I hate u! You just had to taunt me with the features I don't have on my Mustang! Our Focus Titanium has this and I like it. I rarely ever had to use the buttons on the remote as you can just unlock the car by pulling the door handle out slightly and holding it. You lock it with the thumb sensor on the handle. The hatch gets unlocked as well and you just press in under the lift gate handle to unlatch it.
So yeah, pushbutton start and full MFT should be in place for the 2015 model. Likely, it will be several years before I can take advantage of tech upgrades because I can only afford these cars used now.

I have owned a 2000 Passat GLX, a 2009 CC Lux, and my wife currently has a 2009 Passat wagon. The new Passat is so decontented and "Americanized", read that wide flat seats, soft suspension, no rear HVAC vents, cheap plastic door panel, etc, etc... That is how they dropped the price 7 grand=cheap junk! No more VW's. We are looking for the 2013 Escape to replace her wagon.

I feel confident Ford will have the latest state of the art toys in the next Mustang.
