Hey Brad you still taking orders on these? Showed the wife Jewls setup and she loved them. I think it would look great with the Redfire Midwest cover I'm ordering also. I have the TBS and would like to see if I can send it to you beforehand then send both back to me when done.

Thanks

Yes, I can add you to the list, could be a few months before we get to you though. And yes, you can ship your TBS to me to get done at the same time. It was around 15 bucks.

The List:
1. Hatchman - "Reflective Chrome" looks like "Satin Aluminum"
2. ChrisM - "Refl. Chrome/Satin Alum", Installed! Nice pics and feedback
3. Redfire05GT- "Refl. Chrome/SA", quick turn around, thanks!
4. Jewls05GT - "Anodized Red & metal flake/Redfire"
5. Hawgman - "Refl. Chrome/SA"
6. MTAS - "Refl. Chrome/SA"
7. Duckman- "Super Mirror Red"
8. scramblr - "SMR", Status: Getting coated
9. Red Ryder - "Candy Blue"
10. Sandyman
11. 05SatinGT - "Refl. Chrome"
12. nbk13nw- "SMR"
13. Cleveland -"Black Wrinkle"
14. Mustangjack - "Black Wrinkle"
15. Eleanor Dreaming- "SMR" needs to be done by end of January
16. Hags1 - SMR or Black Wrinkle
17. 6505pony - "Redifre/Anod Red & flake" + TBS
18. S197 GT- "Red", waiting a few weeks

That's fine. I want them done but not a rush. I'm in PA so its getting kinda cold for awhile and anything regarding shows is over until spring when I would want them on.

I'll just keep an eye on the thread and when it starts getting close to my turn we'll get together to send the TBS before the painting starts. I don't mind paying extra.

Thanks,Brad.

I hope mine looks half as good as yours. It sold the wife to have them done. She said they looked real good compared to the grey that is in there.

I think she's catching on.

Just found this thread-- all I can say is "COOOOL!"
...and even though my car won't be here until mid-Feb, may I get on the list?

I'm thinking of replicating the cam cover look and color as on the Ford GT ---wrinkle blue---

Any opinions on how that might look? or :notnice:

Cheers,
zonasvt

Well 6505 I'm glad I could help. Just for the record he charged $20 to get my throttle body spacer done. Maybe he lowered the price?

Check on the wrinkle blue for me also. I have been checking some powering coating websites and have seen it used elsewhere. I have some ideas along the GT lines myself.

Yes, you are next, might be a few weeks though, since the next set is going over to Germany and back, so at least a week there and back. I asked him about the intake pipe, but never got anything back, I'll check again.

Along those lines, here is what I was thinking in terms of shade of blue and texture:

Sorry for the delay in all the questions, but come to find out, my PC'r has been in the hospital. He passed the other day, and they've been running tests on him to find out what's up. He's back home now, and Scramblr's covers are done and getting shipped out tomorrow around noon.

Wrinkle Blue: YES! He can do Wrinkle Blue, and here is a valve cover he did to show what his WB looks like.

C&L Intake Tube: YES! He can do a C&L Tube in Candy Blue (and probably any other color), and it'll run 55 bucks.

Thanks again everyone for the kind words. I know Kevin, the PC'r, appreciates it as well.

The List:
1. Hatchman - "Reflective Chrome" looks like "Satin Aluminum"
2. ChrisM - "Refl. Chrome/Satin Alum", Installed! Nice pics and feedback
3. Redfire05GT- "Refl. Chrome/SA", quick turn around, thanks!
4. Jewls05GT - "Anodized Red & metal flake/Redfire"
5. Hawgman - "Refl. Chrome/SA"
6. MTAS - "Refl. Chrome/SA"
7. Duckman- "Super Mirror Red"
8. scramblr - "SMR", Status: Shipping out 11/23
9. Red Ryder - "Candy Blue" (55 for the C&L)
10. Sandyman - "Gold w/metallic flake"
11. 05SatinGT - "Refl. Chrome"
12. nbk13nw- "SMR"
13. Cleveland -"Black Wrinkle"
14. Mustangjack - "Black or BlueWrinkle"?
15. Eleanor Dreaming- "SMR" needs to be done by end of January
16. Hags1 - SMR or Black Wrinkle - His own covers in the mail to me
17. 6505pony - "Redifre/Anod Red & flake" + TBS
18. zonasvt - "Wrinkle Blue"
19. S197 GT- "Red", waiting a few weeks
20. MilStang - maybe later?
21. Stanman - "SMR", wating till Spring
22. ZeroK - maybe later

Hi, all!

Even though I was first on the list, I'm continuing to follow this thread and it looks like hatchman's idea has been quite successful. I've mentioned it to a few people at shows who've expressed interest in my covers. Incidentally, I finally got my JLT CAI functioning so now all the key pieces in my engine compartment match - see below.

A lot of work you've put in under the hood. I like the new JLT II tube, and I see you have a TBS as well. Looks good!

And thanks again!

Since powdercoating is a plastic type polymer is there any problems with the engine temp melting it?
