Bullitt coming in '08!!
The Challenger is said to have the larger newer hemi (6.4-6.6L)
The Hurricane or BOSS motors now... will have 5.8L - 6.4l and +
I don't think ford will tip their hand with those motors with stang potential till they have to. Its said the 5.8L will start in the F-150 next year.

Went to Barnes & Noble last evening, thinking that the new issue of Motor Trend Classic would be out. Look what is on the cover!!!! It's a great read for anyone who loved the movie. This was, and still is my dream Mustang. Someday, I will create my own Bullitt car. Gotta love DHG.

You guys might get a kick out of this pic.
I took this pic on the day I was picking it up when the restoration was complete. My wife drove the '01 back ...
To my surprise the '01 still had a transmission when we got home.

It is a reproduction (or copy) of a pic released by Ford Media when the '01 Bullitt was introduced. It simulates the original '68 on a barn where it is rumored to be stored taking a peek at its successor.

Sometimes information is in front of our eyes and it is over looked. Here is a hint. Click on http://www.ponysite.de/bullitt.htm look under "Latest News!" the heading reads:
BULLITT 2008 CONCEPT CAR (MRT BUILD)
What I find peculiar is that this was posted a couple of months ago and the pic is a copy of MRT's Interceptor minus the oversized hood scoop. I believe MRT participates in the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas which is coming up next month.
It should be interesting. If they are involved I sure hope they understand the Bullitt's theme.
