Bullitt coming in '08!!
Who's the source on this? It sounds like more random speculation to me. All we've heard as a possibility is a 4.6L "niche" engine possibly with a revised intake manifold and different heads (including possibly the heads from the GT supercar).
Nothing about a 5.0L engine.
Though it IS interesting that the Bullitt that was allegedly to debut at SEMA has been postponed - perhaps indicating that it WILL be more than a "paint and badge job."

Having said that, gawd I hope I'm wrong!
Oh yeah,.....well my friend told me the Bullitt was going to have a 10.6L engine....
I'm getting one of these babies! I already called the sales manager to reserve mine when they can be ordered. I sold my '06 GT 5-speed to buy a Charger Daytona. Sorry, but when the Daytona came out in the TorRed color, I couldn't resist. But every time I see a Mustang go by, I get a twinge of remorse. So the plan is to get a Bullitt, then get a new Challenger in white. I'll have the 2 cars from my 2 favorite movies. And be broke.
You think that's bad. I sold an '06 car I bought new, and bought a used Cherokee, just so I wouldn't have any car payments, its even close to DHG in color.
Further, I'm debating trading in my motard for a bike Triumph now makes called the "Scrambler" which is a throwback to the bike McQueen rode in The Great Escape movie...
I'm even debating getting the 'JJZ109' for a personal tag, so I have it when the Bullitt comes to fruition.
My only knock back to reality will be if/when an ADM puts the MSRP out of my reach, and/or supplies are severely limited, thus causing an ADM to remain for longer than initial lauch period.

Gotta love sarcasm
Time to play!
