Well, back in August, our buddy 05stangkc announced the new HID light option on the 08 model. When he announced the new lights he also said,
Oh BTW it Lists with and Without Fog lamps! Which Would indicate a New Grille and Or Fascia!

Well the Trans Am had the "Screaming Chicken" and we had the "Screaming Worm".
I have to admit... In my wilder bellbottom days, I had two Cobra IIs. Both what I called the "Farrah Fawcett" edition.... White with blue stripes.

Funny thread
Tom you are obviously "on it"
Wow - that Pinto looks just like a Mustang II....what a low point in Mustang's history....what was Ford thinking
I know downsizing was the theme of the day back then - but anything but a Pinto - ugh
Back on topic - glad to see another Bullitt - almost thinking I should have waited another year and see what's out there in terms of SE's - gotta give Ford credit - FINALLY they seem to be taking advantage of the Mustang name/heritage and keeping things interesting. What they need to do is start making a hp diff. between these SE models and the GT - wish that was the case of the GT/CS and even after renting the Shelby H - there's not much hp diff between it and the GT. Will keep up the hope that the '08 Bullitt does have hp rating in the 350 range at least.

I'd would expect this BULLITT to have a n/a 5.4 somewhere in the 350 - 375 hp / torque range, 6-speed, a tighter suspension, 18" black Bullitt wheels, dark IUP, a different upholstery pattern on the seats and a sweet sounding exhaust.
I've heard talk of a new engine, can't really see it. Why would ford put that kind of work into the car and make room for another engine with the model when it will only run for 1/2 a year. Can't see it. If anything its just gonna be a beefed up GT. Of course it will have other performance upgrades besides the engine to. For the Body, I'd say no fog light and no poney would be awesome. no GT on the side. Clean Looking. no spoiler. Not sure what they will do for the tail lights if anything. Maybe the front end will get the GT-500 treatment with a different hood. That would be amazing. I would think something different in the exhaust department would be a good thing also. Tinted windows. Interior would have the have to be black and green leather or just pure black. I know its going to be good regardless of what it is. OH! also, the rims will be the 18 inch bullitt that hit the stang for 07. But they will be black chrome. That would be super hot. I have a feeling ford won't create parts for this car. They will work with that they got. Just because it is one year before a new body style.

The designers really need to take a hard look at David Kunz's replica for inspiration.
Hopefully it will have the same front bumper and chrome trim rings as the Parnelli Jones Mustang.
