Hopefully sooner, there is little point in releasing the data on the 28th. The cat is already out of the bag. Monday would be fine. They were initially going to release this at the LA auto show anyway until they changed there plans.
I haven't heard any confirmation of this being 'planned', but we're going to have to wait. The only other way we all get the info is if someone decides to totally blow the embargo and spill the beans.

Ugh. That sounds like it's going to be gross. I'll keep hope for a nice modern 5.0 badge in honor of the old one. If it comes with an L on the end, time to break out the Dremel.
Pics of said 6.2 badge? I think they'll do something in the same font that the new Mustang started to use, something a bit more modern. This might be a way for them to bring another small bit of modern flair to the car.
Edit: here's a pic

Lose the big "L" behind the displacement and make it black chrome and I'll love it.

Put these on the side and keep the standard GT on the rear badge
Remember that "late" is a relative term and not in the sense of being late for work or the movies, etc. R&D, design, approval and testing is not done overnight and all adjustments must be made well ahead of release time. What was gained in the Coyote engine was more in the torque numbers than the figurative increase in HP. Yes, the car will perform better than the previous model, but not markedly so based on HP percentage figures. Quarter mile times will be the most noticeable and not so much the 0-60 times (non-Trak Pak models). It will definitely feel much stronger though and allow the car to be a leader in its segment with all round performance. The new 2011 Mustang will be better than ever................
