412hp!!! Is it true???
It is the baddest Mustang GT to hit the streets. None of the crap from the 60's touches it, even the big block 429 SCJ's which were rated in gross HP. Not to mention the cars were pieces of ****.

For all my life (56 years old) the Mustang has always been a few tents of a second slower than the camaro in every performance test......The times are a changing.
About 10 years ago, I decided that I wanted a Corvette someday. At the time I thought 400 HP would be enough. Now that cost figures into the picture, and the fact that it has a back seat, etc. a mustang is now my dream car, and will a little luck, I will be making it a reality in about 9 months. The more things that change, the more things at FORD that I like!
Respectfully,
Roger
No, I don't think so. Judging from the rumor mill, this engine already breathes well- and four cams will not be cheap. I think your easiest, quickest path to 500hp is forced induction. We'll all know for sure by mid summer.
Don't wanna mess with NOS bc this will be a DD.
Good job of offending any of us that have owned vintage Mustangs. The Mustang would not be what it is today if not for the heritage it has, any true Mustang enthusiats would understand that.
Try being a Foxbody fan, 1979 - 1993 is sorta like everybody's drunk uncle showing at christmas dinner, yeah he's family, you just dont like to talk about him.
lol. That's funny dude. I owned a 1969 Mach 1 428 CJ 4speed from 1982-1995 and I swear the most fun I had was when all the 5.0 guys would mouth off how fast their cars were and that the old junk couldn't keep up, then I'd proceed to show them what my tail lights looked like (usually before I was even in second gear). Back 20 yrs ago I hated new Mustangs and only liked the 60's and early 70's stuff.

Lol, have you met the Mustang IIs?? Or 94-98? Point is, we should appreciate that we own one of the longest running, best selling cars in the world. Every generation has its own traits and characteristics. Eci you're on crack if you would take a 2010 over a Boss 429. They're market value will hopefully keep rising.
.I agree with you that the '11 should be the baddest GT ever!
