You guys finally get it, good. The 05-09 rear is a flat, ugly monotonous bore. 2010 ftw.

I'd expect similar times to the SS. I am not expecting a 3450 lb GT like a lot here, I think the power to weight will be close between the two cars.

Supposed to already come with tuned headers. I expect a 3650lb curb weight for GT.

And THAT is the kicker...if that happens, it would be quite impressive.

I am pretty sure you are the first to even notice my comment.

I am still just going to wait and see the FORD official release, while the cat may be out of the bag, I want to be sure what kind of cat it is before I commit.

It appears that the 390 torque has been removed from at least two of the articles posted about. This concerns me a little.

I noticed that too. There's a lot of pissed off Ford PR people for leaking this so early.

The articles have been removed altogether, not just the torque figure. This would indicate, to me at least, that the leaked figures are legit.

I'd say Ford is pretty pissed right now.

Just for some fun we can then add that if a 6.2L engine had the same technology then it would have 510 hp and roughly 483 lb/tq. Wouldn't that be nice. Then, of course, we'd have to dream about slapping a SC or TT's on it. Oh the possibilities...

If it had the same technology, you might be right. But it doesn't.

i'm thinking with just a cold air kit, we may level out with the the Camaro in HP numbers. And that's just the beginning. I'm pretty sure there's lots of potential with that new motor.
