I think I'm in the same boat...My priority is 15, which is ok, but my dealer has about 30 2013 Mustangs still on the lot, over half are GT's.

Call CSX 877-ShipCSX (1-877-744-7279) you will need the rail car number from the selling dealer. It is nearly impossible if it changes rail carriers along the way. Mine changed to Norfolk Central in Fostoria MI only 70 miles from Flat Rock.

Never got the rail car number on mine, but- unless there has been a train accident somewhere that I haven't heard of- I'm guessing it should have arrived to the terminal here in the DFW area last night (or some time today).
I actually lost a few minutes of sleep last night visualizing the arrival of my car to the dealer (probably because I spent a couple hours watching road tests of the Mustang GT on YouTube last night... almost all of them are very positive).

Congrats klmustang. I got the VIN for my Shelby yesterday as well. Did you have a build week of 6/3? Sounds like we will have Shelby sisters.

I don't know what's up with the '14s or if it has any significance for what's in-store, but some the damned things are getting built lickety split fast.
My two got dropped on my dealer's doorstep a full five months sooner than it expected its allocation to get scheduled, which was the timeframe all of the depreciation, financials and practical implications of the deal were predicated upon.
I s'pose that makes my pair of '13s available one hell of a lot sooner than I anticipated - if the offer(s) happen to be right.
Hard to tell if Ford has a short run in mind for '14 given the '13s that are still available or it's planning a longer-than-usual run to have stocks through '15 when there won't be a GT500 placeholder.

Mine has been on a train ride since Tuesday. I was told by the wonderful Deysha, that the train is almost to Wisconsin! ETA still 5/26. Hope I get it before that weekend. :-)

USUALLY, window stickers trail VIN assignment by about 2 weeks, which is usually a week in advance of a car's scheduled build date - though holidays can cause bunches to be ganged together sooner or later to allow for days' off.
Don't worry. If you have a VIN, the car is getting made - and all changes are locked out.

Completely useless...
Deysha gave me an ETA of 18 May. On Wednesday, the dealer said "late this week or early next."
Past experience has demonstrated there is apparently only one person in the entire chain of 5 dealerships who can look up information on orders- and he goes home early each day- so I left a message at 2pm asking if someone could tell me if the car will be in on Saturday or Monday...
No return call (which was unfortunately not surprising), so I stopped by on the way home. Long story short- "Oh, the guy that looks up order info is already gone, he leaves early."
"That's why I left you a message at 2pm."
"Yeah, well I did give him a call- then I got busy with a customer. I can try to call him again, but he isn't in."
I give up. Deysha is great- and simultaneously helps dozens of customers track their cars. My dealership, however, can't even seem to keep up with one! I'm sure I'll be excited to get behind the driver's seat, but this dealer has managed to suck the joy out of what should have been a cool experience.
If I ever purchase a Ford new again, I will drive 350 miles to Odessa, TX to purchase it from Sewell Ford. I've purchased 5 cars in the last 6 years from various Sewell dealerships around DFW, and their service and responses have always been perfect.
