They pulled all the stickers/sheet plastic protectors for me, with the exception of the UAW/FORD "Built With Pride" sticker on the left quarter window (which I'll always display), then asked if I wanted a dealership label on the deck lid. I said, "No labels, but you are more than welcome to hang a rear plastic dealership plate, if you wish." They did with pride!

Have you talked to your dealer? Maybe they have a low priority for your Stang to be built. Seven weeks waiting on a vin for a GT is ridiculous. Most have there cars by then.

The problem is my dealer's allocation was/is full for April and May. The regional rep tried to get one from another area dealer but everyone is full. It was just bad timing. I'm just hoping it gets scheduled before the June/July shutdown.

Oh ok well that sucks but I think if its built before the shutdown you will be fine because shipping will continue is what Deysha was saying

Priority
What do the priority numbers mean? Mine is 80.

It makes a difference in how your order gets scheuled. The lower the number the better but there are other factors that attribute to your stang being built I think Deysha talked about it in one of the last (ford customer service) post in this thread.

Agreed - couldn't tell by his post (maybe I missed an earlier one) if he was looking for an update based on VIN or an update on the VIN itself
Surprised a VIN isn't available considering it was ordered in March. I ordered from a small dealership April 13th and had the VIN a couple weeks later

Guess whose ride was loaded on a rail car yesterday?
Sweet!!
Woo hoo!
Lol! You’re welcome, Varilux.
I’ll think about it…
Congrats!
Most of them say “convoy”, silvagsr. It’ll travel by train.
No. On Tuesday, lvxlr8n.
Sounds great, saparish!
Congrats!! You’re very welcome!
I’ll get back to you as soon as possible, cobrajg.

Quick update.
Window sticker went live this morning. Let my sister know and she is trying to get a plant tour on 5/21(which is the build/blend date). My wife's mother also knows someone who works at Flat Rock and is also going to try and take some pictures.
Sooo excited and can't wait for it to come!

Thanks Deysha. My dealer promised to call me "first thing this morning" with an update (and I somehow knew I'd hear from you first... its 11am and still no call from them- so its great to have you as a resource).
Guess I'll go into "expectant father" mode and just wait for a call from the dealership (of course, from what we see here, sometimes the dealership just forgets to call, so I might need to start visiting them daily).

Woohoo, my Shelby got scheduled. My dealer sent me the VIN and build date week of 6/3 at 7:45 this morning. Big shout out to my salesman Dan Divens at Varsity Ford for the great customer service. Only thing missing is the 4 week coma option so the next time I wake up the car would be here.
