You sound like me. Patience is a virtue I am seriously lacking! Not too much longer.

The should have gotten to Bill by now, hopefully his will be on their way back to me soon.

Update for all. First of all my valve covers are on their way to Brad, less than 24 hrs after receipt.
But what a trip. Since I have to work ( to pay for Mustang things
) I did not do my own replacement. I took it to the local Ford dealer who called me after I dropped off the car to tell me I might have a problem with my warranty installing these "aftermarket" valve covers.
I had to tell the D--b a-- that they were original, expensive Ford vlave covers with a powder coat finish. He couldn't get that through his head for the longest time. Then he told me how much the dealer was going to charge me for the "4" hours labor  to put them on. Well, the conversation was civil, but only that. He said Ford's book allows 4 hours to replace valve covers. Cripes, they could pull the whole engine out in that amount of time. :bang: I told him non mechanics were doing it in 2 hours without training. What kind of techs do they hire?
Well, the conversation finally ended with a negotiated price. I will never take any non warranty work to Mullinax Ford in Apopka,FL. :notnice: again.( oops, I didn't mean to say their name)
The covers look nice though. By the way I had to tell them that the gasket was designed to be reused, so if they told me the gaskets were damaged and had to be replaced, there would be a come uppance. They wanted to charge me for new gaskets, too. Guess what? No new gaskets.
Live and learn. Here's wishing the rest on the list a no hassle install. Good luck and enjoy.

Sorry to hear about your time at the dealership. Sounds like the usual stealership service run around. Voiding the warranty for installing a factory part, Ha! Good job making that one hold up in court. Nobody even makes aftermarket covers yet.
I got Jewl's covers off and cleaned up with degreaser and a water hose in less than an hour, and I've no doubt I can put them back on in less than that. I found a little cordless screwdriver with a socket attatchment makes taking the bolts out a breeze!
Glad you got them on, and glad you like them!

I was laughing at what Redfire05GT said about having to chase down the postman, then I had to do the same thing today. The guy knocked on my door then literally took off running back to his truck, I guess he just thought no one would be at home at 2:30. Anyway, ran after him and grabbed the covers. They are at the PCr's now getting coated for Hawgman.
While I was there, I picked up Jewl's "Anodized Red w/ metal flake" covers and TB spacer. We decided to add a little metal flake, since the stock Redfire has a little in it. Turned out he added a lot of metal flake. What can I say besides WOW! The color match is right on, I'd say 95% accurate, but with more metal flake than the Redfire color. But I think it will look good in a dark engine bay. In the sunlight, they sparkle and look awesome!
Check out the pics and let me know what you think. These were taken in the garage, so not as much light.

We will have to take some pics of the covers and the TBS installed when I get home from work to get the full effect. I like em. I know they have a slight bling factor because there is a lot of metal flake, but under the hood you need it. I really like the TBS matching instead of that hideous blue.
You got it!

Good Golly Miss Molly, those metal flake red ones are the BOMB!.
Why is my life like that. I pick out a nice "safe" color and along comes the WOW! factor. You guys are correct. Under the hood with the right light, and look out. Mesmerizing
