And more good news to Torch Red owners. After considering that the Bright Red was going to be a little darker color red than the Torch Red, the powder coater researched and came up with the newest, brightest, most reflective red on the market that is supposed to blow everthing else away, called Super Mirror Red. It's more expensive than the other powder he's been using, but if it makes a better product, he wants to use it, and will still charge the same amount. So Duckman gets to be the first with the new SMRed. Hope to get some pics and feedback on how the SMR looks. But the pics I've seen look amazing, like Torch Red w/ Zaino.

This red sounds perfect and I can't wait to see it. And I get to be first. At last I can add a little more color under the plenum cover! I will post pics immediately after installation. Any ideas on when to ecpect a ship date?

Right now, ship date looks like Saturday afternoon, the powder coat is on order, but should be here Friday. He's going to prep the covers, and have them ready to coat, so hopefully the will be coated and cooked and ready to ship by Saturday afternoon.

Not sure about Legend Lime, I'll check.

 

The first new set of Super Mirror Red cam covers are in. I think the color looks good. Let me know what you all think.

Also, for those who have seen it, and those who will see it, this is... "The Box". Actually, it's two boxes, taped together, reinforce with two more boxes inside, filled with styrofoam, bubble wrap, peanuts, air bubble packets, foam sheets, brown paper, cardboard, and plastic bags. Covered with enough clear packing and Priority mail tape along with Fedex, shipping info, insurance, and postage stickers to hold a small planet together.

To get the cam covers out, just cut the tape along the top and bottom of the box seams. On the top, around the shipping lable, the seam is right down the middle. On the bottom, you've got to cut around the outside of the bottom. It's really easy, you'll see where many have done it before.

Tomorrow, as LL Cool J says, it's "going back to Cali".

They still accept shipment of that box? Shoot, after the fight I had with Fedex about it having priority mail tape on it, I figured it had been replaced by now.
