Just got my quarterly bonus... it was less than the Union told me it would be. Called the payroll people....Oh Oh you and 3 other people (out of 400) only got payed 2/3 of the Bonus. Somebody must have fat fingered some keys. Your get a make up check next week. :shame:

Trying to go camping this weekend but it looks like rain on and off all weekend. I'm waiting for the wife to wake up to tell me what we are doing:hail:.

No thong pics from me. :shame: That I promise. We are flying to Fort Meyers, rent a car at the airport than drive to Marco Island. About 1 1/2 hr drive. Hope to be on the beach by 2pm. tomorrow. I think the wife may be taking her laptop so I may be able to give you guys a daily weather report from the beach. ;)

I'm off work the first two weeks of May, but I have too much stuff going on around here to be able to take a trip anywhere. Friend's cars to fix, a garage to finish off (drywall and shelves inside, paint the outside of the door), car club meeting. It's going to be a busy 2 weeks. I might try to go to a drag strip at least once during my 2 weeks off though.

The condos we are staying in sold for about $220K back in the late 1990's. You can't touch the same place today for under $750K or more. We got lucky this trip and rented directly from the owner. No real estate middle man which can double the price. And they are from Cinncinnati Ohio. Karen and I were on Marco Island in March of 1976...there was only a couple of old run down flat top houses back than and a beautiful beach. I hope I can post a few pics from down there on what it looks like today. It is amazing what the difference is. Lots of money down there.:screwy: We can only afford a week like the rich and famous people. :confused: P.S. I couldn't afford a 1000 sq. ft. lot at todays prices.

Scott, when I was a kid I spent many summer's and Easter breaks at the Grand Parents winter home on Marco, Early this year when the wife and I where in FLA, I took her to Marco to show the property they used to own. Well this might surprise you but I agree 200%. :nice: We usually make a day trip up to Sanibel Island everytime we go down. It's been 4 years since we have been there and I understand the hurricanes of 2005 cut the island in half from other people that have been there lately. We are planning to go up next week and see for ourselves.

I was dissapointed with Sanibel.....the wife and I went to Fort Meyers for our honey moon two summers ago.....the best part was Pincher's Crab Shack!...not the big one.....the small one in the stripmall on the east side of McGregor Blvd. Get the Grouper Sandwhich!

You would need about 44 in the rear to be close to the OE load rating
and 40 in the front.

the O.E 235/50/18 @ 32psi is 1532 lbs
your 255/35/20 # 32 psi 1354 lbs
I dont have the 295/30 specs, but you can bet at 32psi its lower than 1354lbs

I had a track official tell me that my driver's side tire was coming off of the ground about 1/2"! Got faster and faster as I began to get used to the track. There is a private rental this coming Friday, if the weather holds up, hopefully I'll have another new personal best! :metal:

Got stocked back up on the brewskeys. I will try to post the pics I snapped yesterday. The wife's works for a government contractor and her laptop has tons of encryption crap on it and it's hard to get around. But lets try again! This is where they get the sand to put in those ashtrays in the fancy hotels. We are in the tower on the left in the second pic.

Karen and I have been on about every beach all around Florida in the past 33 years.
The west coast beaches are the best. And Marco Island tops them all. They accually run tractors up and down the beach to fluff the sand and pic up trash every day. This place is full of money.

Well Its official....I was homeless for about three hours....we closed on the selling of our old house before the closing for the new house....and now I am at work with my wife at the new house painting the Kitchen before the new appliances are delivered....we still have 7 days to move out...so were are trying to figure out where we are sleeping tonight...
