Good work old man!! Are your stripes going to be pasties or painted?? :dunno: My next mod just bellied up tonight. The taxes needed some adjustments and did not turn out like first thought. Not going to be gears or a new torque converter this month. Just ordered a new set of Magnaflows from Brenspeed tonight. Wife drove the car today to Ziebart to have the undercoat and paint pertection redone and came home and said the exhaust sounded like poop. :mad:Confirmed what I have thought since I installed the longtubes. Very, very raw sounding. So I will install the Mags and if I don't like that sound it will be a custom made Prochamber on the extra set of H pipes that come with the OBX headers. Will this exhaust crap never end???

blkstang06 4/8/08 09:40 PM

I take my Stang to them for TSB's they don't even flinch at my puny mod's...:rofl2:

STD,
Are the hood pins pasties or real?
Might consider them myself.

Hey Larry,
I will post some before and after sound clips.:nice: I pickup the car up from Zeibart tonight and they told me how awesome the exhaust sounded. 24 hrs earlier my wife told me it sounded like poop. But they only heard it at start up and idle.. not at that dreaded 2500 rpm range. (cackle city) Brenspeed did not have the Maggies in stock so I am not sure when I will get them.

Hey Robert,
You are beating this to death. My math was correct on the change in angle of the lower control with spring drop. The effect of the change on the pinion angle was less than I perdicted. I have said and will say again I was wrong. You continue to give Ron Lenord of Spydershaft a lip beating when ever possible. You have also made me sorry that I let you put me up to asking Ron in the driveshaft thread what effect spring drop has on pinion angle. I for one am just glad at least one driveshaft manufacture spent a few hours doing some research work. And than when I gave Ron kudos for his efforts you had plenty to say again. In the future when you have issues with anything that Ron posts that you don't like please don't ask me to get involved. Take it up with Ron. Do your own dirty work. I am happy with the product I purchased and I know your customers are happy with your product. I am sure I should have handled this through the PM system but I don't always do the smart thing. I have never posted or said 1 bad word about the Shaftmasters product and will continue that. But let it die man.
Scott:nice:

HOW TO SAVE THE AIRLINES
Dump the male flight attendants. No one wanted them in the first place.
Replace all the female flight attendants with good-looking strippers ! They don't even serve food anymore, so what's the loss?

The strippers would at least triple the alcohol sales and get a 'party atmosphere' going in the cabin. And, of course, every businessman in this country would start flying again, hoping to see naked women..

Because of the tips, female flight attendants wouldn't need a salary, thus saving even more money. I suspect tips would be so good that we could charge the women for working the plane and have them kick back 20% of the tips.

Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear of seeing naked women. Hijackings would come to a screeching halt, and the airline industry would see record revenues.

This is definitely a win- win situation if we handle it right -- a golden opportunity to turn a liability into an asset.

Why didn't Bush think of this? Why do I still have to do everything myself?

Sincerely,
Bill Clinton

I like the idea Chris. Wonder if there is any way to get this in place by the 26th of this month. Heading to Florida. Would make for an interesting flight for sure.

Got a pleasant surprise tonight. Although the UPS tracking said my Magnaflow mufflers were not going to make it until Monday they showed up tonight. So this weekend (since the weather is poop) I will get the Maggies installed and put the Steeda wheels and Nitto's back on the car. Getting ready for summer!! :nice: I will post some before and after vid clips going from the GTA's to the Maggie's. I hope this will tone down my sound. Since the longtubes it sounds pretty raw in my opinion. Hey Larry...what yet doing this weekend? :poke::jester:

Also, Brenspeed needs to get there business cards and advertisements updated. This is old news. Do all of you know who the car in the pic is?? :poke:

Thanks for update on the dyno day, gonna try to get to it. I'm curious what the delete plates netted me + changed my gas brand.

Hey Larry...I know with the wedding $ are tight but maybe you can swing the Prothanes and we can installed them before the dyno day. Some say they are worth 5 X 5. That would get you over the 300/300 mark very easily.

Hi Cody, good luck with the move and stuff. :nice:

frdtch05gt 4/11/08 11:14 PM

I went with 18x9's with 255/45's all around, car handles great with this combo. I have some 14" Baer Eradispeed rotors sitting here that will be going on the car Tuesday afternoon. They aren't drilled or slotted though, just plain. It will make a nice improvement in the brakes though. My stock rotors are warped already with 22k on them.

Nice exhaust Scott! Post up a sound clip when they're on the car.

Stoenr 4/11/08 11:19 PM

I'm surprised at the rotors being warped. I took mine off after 22k and 2 road track days and about 40-50 runs down the 1/4 and they were pretty smooth still. Just had em resurfaced at work the other day and will set aside in case I ever need to put them back on.

But your car is lookin hot!

Question for the day. Does anybody run a water temp gauge and if you do what does it read at normal operating temps.? I set my Tuner to kick on at 180 Hi and my gauge nevers goes above that mark. Do I need to let the engine get warmer for a bit more HP or what??

Also its grey and rainee here , they are calling for a light snow tonight.

Hey Darrell,
I have the Aeroforce scan gauges so I am reading the sensors that the computer sees. I have changed nothing that would effect the water temp. and mine runs 190 when fully warmed up and cruising.
