I didn't know this but they have a ghost cam tune for a V6 like mine. I won't be doing this but it's cool.

Car looks great!

Agree that black is miserable... I use poor boys black hole glaze on mine to alleviate some of the pain.

Thanks, I thought I was handy capable enough to try it instead of paying a pro. I did start getting the hang out it when I got to the other sides, just sad that I messed up the front and driver's side. It looks decent, but I will definitely redo it again.

Mark - I love your demeanor and personality, and that matched up with how you were when I met you last year. Your metaphor on how much black sucks (above) is hilarious.

But yes, I totally agree with you - imagine, I owned 3 black cars at ONCE.

Can't say as I've ever heard of a green donkey dick but that'll do the job.

Put on my new tires/wheels and wrapped part of the hood vents. I got SVEs with Michelin PSS 275/40s all around, black doesn't stand out much on the dark blue, feel like I should have gotten charcoal or gray wheels. Drove it a bit, the PSS does ride a bit more comfortable and seems to absorb bumps better, didn't really get a chance to push them. I like them, but the sidewall design is pretty unattractive and boring.

Hot rod cams and 3:90 gears installed.

Yup the gears whine, I love it finally sound like I'm driving a hot rod again. I wouldn't change a thing! Maybe, if it was my DD it might get old, but for the 2/3 drives a week. I love it and my neighbours don't. Mission accomplished!

Removed the CHE lca relocation brackets, did a quick test drive in front of the house, no axle hop on 2 hard hits, just clean tire spin.
Re-checked the measurements from the front of the tire to the fender opening, the ~1/2" difference side-to-side is gone.
I had measured my wheelbase a few weeks ago and the passenger side was about ~1/2" longer than the left, and that difference was also found in front of the rear tire, measured against the fender like I did today.
Nice to know now that my wheelbase is even side to side, or within about a 1/16" or so, which is negligible.
And nice to know that I don't need the CHE relo brackets anymore.
Guess the BMR UCA and the Steeda LCAs are doing a good enough job of locating that axle, that the relo brackets are no longer necessary.

If they whine, then they weren't installed correctly.

Yep, it is a really fun car, but I am looking to get a GT350 instead. It will be way down on power, but it should handle a bit better then the Boss does. Plus all I would do to it would be wheels, tires and cosmetics, where if I kept the Boss I feel like I would go full ham on it and redo the entire suspension.

Well, you could be just like the thousands of other GT350 owners, or you could continue being the owner of a 1-of-1 Boss.
It's already highly modified, what's another couple thousand, for the suspension?

A couple great things that can be done ... on the inexpensive side, just in case you weren't aware!

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s197-m...11-14-all.html - Cluch Assist Spring

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s197-m...ing-rails.html - Steeda Jacking Rails

Happy Modding!

^^I agree with Gabe here.

Your car is already faster than the GT350 cars Sean and as Gabe mentioned, more rare. I can understand wanting to get a GT350 car because of the chassis and whatnot, but we think you have a killer Boss. Just do the suspension the way you want it done. You've already put so much time and effort into this car. Losing all that money, (time is money as well).
Either way you decide Sean, good luck bro!
