Chainge the oil, oil in the tranny, installed my new MGW flat stick shifter, and lastly my new steeda jacking rails. The rails are definitely worth it.

Thanks Burton. I still have my Legend Lime 06 to keep me happy. The black car is for when the wife is with. She likes the comfort.
Sad thing is the new V6 has 5 more horsepower.

LMAO!!! I'm guessing she had no idea it was a GT350R spoiler .... my only thought on it is that it might look more at-home if the wheels weren't chrome.
The wheels say "luxury cruiser", the rear spoiler says "backroad burner".
Some mixed messages coming from the car, but overall it looks good.
Love me some meaty tire sizes!

amen brother, amen.

Love the look overall. Chrome wheels too.

305 wides, on all 4 corners? dang... I didn't know that they fit on the S550 body. I think the widest we can go on ours is 285 on the fronts.

You are correct. Without modifying the suspension at all, 285s are the widest that will fit without sticking out and rubbing. I knew going into this that in order to install 305s on the front, I would have to have just the right offset and a little extra camber. I started looking at what Vorshlag was doing with their custom Forgeline wheel sets (https://vorshlag-store.com/pages/forgestar) and decided to give 19x11's all the way around a shot. In order to run 2.2° of negative camber in the front, I installed Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates. I wish I could afford the Vorshlag units, but at almost $600, that was a hard pill to swallow. I am currently running -2.2° camber in the front and -1.7° camber in the rear, and the car handles like it's on rails. Hopefully, I will get to take her to the mountains this weekend.

Oh, after your comment, I just thought we were flinging around insults like monkeys flinging poo. I can appreciate your opinion, but if everyone liked the same thing, life would be pretty boring. I personally hate the low rearend fastback look, and the GT350R spoiler does a great job of visually lifting the rearend of these cars. It's also functional.

Torsen, when you get on this site long enough, you will know which characters to ignore and which to respect. You'll know where to place certain people, particularly ones who (and I've said this many times before) provide zero value to this site. Zero.

That being said, yeah the Vorshlag approach is pricey... but what you've done to your setup, looks sick. I love the stance.

Thanks! I wish I could do more, but right now we're in pay down debt mode. Having just put both of our kids through four years of college, we're trying to get our finances in order to buy another house. If my son gets into medical school, maybe he can buy me a cool car some day.
