If I were to buy a boat, I would choose the Charger, at least it has 4 doors. Lol, jk, I would take any of the Hellcats!
Thanks man. FINALLY nice weather.

Thanks Burton.
Awesome stuff. I need an oil change on the Roush real soon. The truck is going to need one soon as well. lol

Who's a winner with two thumbs? This guy!

Today I put my official individually numbered Car Talk Staff parking permit on my windshield. I won it when my answer was randomly picked from the thousands of more-or-less correct answers to the weekly puzzler. http://www.cartalk.com/puzzler/metal-helmet-mystery
So now I can park at Car Talk Plaza, Hahvahd Squayah, Cambridge, Mah. It's printed in a nice shade of blue that looks good with my Lightning Blue. Pretty cool, right? It's OK to be jealous; I don't mind.

Just ordered a new pair of 305/40/18 Nitto 555R drag radials.
$561 shipped from Discount Tire Direct on eBay.
Better than the $302/each they list them for on their site.
Quickly got tired of the lack of traction from the 285/40/18 Goodyear F1's that I've had on the back of the car for a few weeks now, and the sale pushed me off the fence.

They do and occasionally they have some really good deals on there.
I've seen stuff like $100 off $500+ purchases, maybe even less than $500

Gabe - if I were to do it again, I'd skip the Nitto's - at least for me. They are a decent tire, good life span, but the compromise is in grip. I am likely going with Toyo's or MT ET Streets drag radials.

Already ordered so not gonna change.
I considered Mickey Thompson ET Street SS tires in the same 305/40/18 size, but they have a price fix going on, and at $365 a piece that's just too **** much.
And I've read that their sidewall is softer, which might be better at the track, but I don't go to the track, and the 555R's have been great for me.
As far as Toyo, I'm assuming you're talking about the R888's ?
I've looked into those, great tread pattern and supposedly great traction, but a tire that is very noisy at highway speeds, and a tire that quickly gets greasy and chunks up on roadcourse-type racing. Even seen pictures of huge chunks of tread missing from some R888's after a single lap on a course

Lol, no prob.
Roof's OK for now, it's gonna need to be fully redone at some point, the previous owner had it done and the job was half-as$ed.

Used car common sense

Just a reminder when you buy a used car even with low miles....you should change all fluids so your sure its got quality , clean fluids....makes a big difference.....don't trust whats in it

If the suspension and camber are set properly on the car for the track that's being run on, the 888's do just fine. Any tire will chunk and come apart after one track day if they're heated asymmetrically all day long.

Drove it to a planning meeting for a Ford show this summer. I've got PlastiDip waiting to go but need the weather to cooperate.
