Unwrapped mine from the long winters nap last night and took a nice drive in the country. Took a few pics. Did not realize how much I missed this beast. So much fun! So glad to have her back on the road. So I had to drive mine to work today. Another perfect day!

Just the stock 285/35 ZR 19's. They look grippy so time will tell. They are already noticeably quieter!

Since it was really nice out, fired mine up and let it run for a bit and drove it up and down the driveway. (Did not drive it anywhere.) Swept out the garage and by the front steps while it was idling in the driveway. Figured I kill 2 birds with one stone.

Replaced the vinyl rocker panel stripes on the driver side. I put the old ones on myself, first time I ever put vinyl on a car, and didn't do a great job. Much happier with the second attempt. Not sure if it's better cuz now I have a little experience or cuz I decided to try a dry application instead of the wet method I used first time. Anyway, it looks a lot nicer now in my eyes. Most people probably wouldn't notice, but I do.

Also, ordered a Cobb tuner. Let's see how much faster electrons will make this car go.

Decided to wrap my roof. First time ever doing something like this, wasn't as easy as all the YouTube videos, lol. It felt like a butcher job when I first started it. I started from the center towards the driver front, and I kinda messed up there, got a little too happy with a heat gun and ended up with some creases. But it got a little better as I learned from mistakes. Overall, definitely felt like an amateur job on my roof, but from a distance it looks ok.

If you look closely, there are some light scratches from the squeegee, felt I was using too much pressure in the beginning, and I ended up stretching the vinyl in the front too much from using the heat gun. And then I accidentally scratched the front of the vinyl while trying to tuck it behind the windshield. Ugh. If I had to do it again, I would paid a pro, but, now that I kinda got the hang of it, I might just redo it properly in a month or two.

Thanks I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. The little bit I did they stuck pretty good.

Don't feel too bad. Some "pros" have done worse. Look at any meet or show. You'll see someone with some kind of wrap, a big gaudy windshield banner or Instagram logos for the business that "sponsored" them and the install is crap. So feel good about it! Vinyl gets a little easier every time you do it. You just have to learn from your mistakes and have all the correct tools for the job

I washed the black mustang. Black sucks donkey dick. The car wash is fine but my water is so hard there were spots everywhere.
Needless to say I got the spots out with a lot of elbow grease. I will not make that mistake again.
