The battery in our truck died on us Saturday night when we stopped at Sheetz. A kid at the gas station tried to help us out with his old beat up Camry (can't say anything bad about it, he tried to help us out), but didn't have the juice to do anything. We caught an Uber home and came back with the Mustang and jumper cables. WHAM, fired right up first try!
1. Put the catalytic converters back in for inspection this week
2. Put the black powdercoated Borla axle backs back on after powdercoater fixed the coating on them under warranty
3. Changed the oil
4. Fixed the illumination on my pillar gauges. I tapped a wire behind the headlight switch and the tap I used was too large and only making intermittent contact.
5. Cleaned and oiled the air filter
6. Put in the LED headlight kit I bought last summer
7. Changed the oil in the supercharger
8. Emptied the catch cans. Passenger side bone dry. Driver side about 3 ounces.
9. Put the front license plate back on
10. Discovered a bad injector on cylinder 6

well I worked a bit on Buddy, smoked the tires a bit too...
1. checked over the car
2. refilled coolant
3. Talked to Ford parts dept and confirmed that I need to use Motorcraft Gold
4. began planning to do system flush
5. washed the car...**** rain came just after I finished...
6. continued with working on removal of the PA rego tag
7. installed a new head unit
8. corrected a wire fault in the HU harness (illumination wire was causeing all lights to remain on at all times)
9. installed Amp and sub into the car
Finally got my oil separator catch-can installed. No more worries about the turbo getting gummed up. That happened to my dad's VW turbodiesel years ago and I remember how it struggled to climb hills.
