That "1200-horsepower Mustang" for $45k or $50k or whatever it is this week, is a car with a turbo system that's CAPABLE of delivering 1200 hp, IF you turn up the boost and get yourself a built bottom-end.
The standard package is about 550 rwhp.
Very good didnt realize that. Thanks Gabe.

Yup, a completely different animal than my Whippled Coyote.
It puts down almost 150 ft-lbs of torque more to the tires, that's definitely extra torque you FEEL.

Yeah, that's like 1/3 of the reason why I want a Shelby as well.

The don't have to all negative.
I totally agree. I keep going over it in my head. There are people out there that don't drive their toys much, like me. lol
Like I stated before, the last owner was an older gentleman and the salesman said that the car scared him so he traded it back in at 100 miles. (At least that is what I was told by the salesman.)

Chances are very good that whoever owned that car for 100 miles was another dealer, not the "old man that drove it and it scared him" ... that's a nice story but at the same time a terrible story, since it might make the buyer think that that old man possibly got it sideways and maybe even hit something with it before getting rid of it. And yes, I know the Carfax was clean, doesn't mean that this mystery old man didn't fix it cash, no insurance claim meaning no carfax report.
Dealers will often put the wrong money into a car when they take in a trade, then they're stuck not selling the car for months. Eventually they'll write off the loss and wholesale the car to another dealer. Meanwhile, the car gets some miles put on it through various test-drives or managers driving it.

Yes, I sold cars for a year too, lol.

Yeah,......too many variables and too many owners for my liking.
Everything happens for a reason.

An actual Roush Stage 3 car or a GT with the Roushcharger bolted on after car was purchased? Big difference.
One is built by Roush at the Roush headquarters. The other is not. Roush has a really good quality control system. Each car must pass quality control before it goes to the next stage in build.

Well, how's this for an update?

My O2'S went ready this afternoon.
This morning I went up to Performance Dyno and Josh did a couple revisions, went for a drive cruising at about 50-55 for about 10 minutes and the catalyst went ready, something that hasn't happened that quick before.
So he adjusted fuel trims a bit to get them closer to zero, did another quick road test, and let me go on my way.
About 5-7 minutes later the catalyst went ready.
I drove home, we take both cars and head up to the weekly cruise night and as I was parking the sensors went ready.
So now I just have the EVAP monitor which I don't really need to have ready for a sticker, but it will probably go ready overnight after the car sits at least 8 hours.

This has now happened with the stock cats I haven't replaced yet, no O2 spacers, the smallest pulley I've installed, the 3.125", and the rest of the combo that had me at 608 rwhp.

Looking forward to my sticker Monday morning!

Thanks Sarge ... I added some info to my post just now .... the tuner made a couple of revisions this morning and apparently they helped a lot, cuz less than 100 miles after the last revision was loaded, the sensors went ready.
Evap monitor should go ready overnight, I'll check that in the morning.

Thanks Tony, it sure is.
Just checked the Evap monitor though and it didn't set overnight, like it should've.
But shouldn't matter for the sticker since they allow one monitor not ready, and it's usually the Evap that's not ready.
And there's a chance it still might go ready before I bring the car in for the sticker
