Changed my front rotors and pads today. It really wasnt that bad of a job. I was quoted $150 if I brought my own parts, so I figured I might as well give it a try myself. Much easier then I remember from the last time me and a friend changed some pads 10 years ago

They had a black coating on them, after the bed-in it's gone.

I had a productive week. Finally got the fender damage from the fat raccoon repaired. Steeda Triax short throw shifter installed. Carbon fiber drive shaft. BMRP street catback exhaust. This is starting to turn into the car I wanted.

Just do it.
'13-'14 TVS & injectors, FRPP twin-65mm throttle body, JLT 123mm intake, and a matching tune.
That's my wife's combo and she went from 551/546 to 656/661.
Much different car. A blast.

Her blower had some light porting done to the elbow and the intake part of the blower, but it's running the stock pulley.

And, finally got rid of the horrible black plastic honeycomb. T-rex polished aluminum billet grille.

I was working with Zegin Braun. He was quick replying with the emails, but very short. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll pass along his info.
Well,......they sold the car.
I went back every 3-4 days to see if it was sold and low and behold.

Very cool! How many miles? I haven't done them yet on Marilyn, but maybe someday. 16k miles only and light use, so the brakes are still good.

Thanks! I have 26k on my 2012. The pads were almost at the wear indicators. The shop were I had my clutch (among many other things) installed about a month ago told me my rotors had grooves wearing into them, which was surprising to me based on the miles. Figured I might as not mess around and just knock it out.

Nothing special, just Urban Auto Parts "heavy duty" offering.

Drove to work today and had a guy tailgating me WAY to close. I let her unwind a bit and put about 20 car lengths between us. Man, I really enjoy this car, so much better than a minivan. After work today I'm gonna take on the back roads and the long way home.

In the process of taking some boltons off my car, a mild de mod before my car is turned in tomorrow. It has been a great ride in this car, but definitely time to move on, so Im not really sorry to see it go.

What are you trading it in for? Are you putting anything good up for sell?
