Jeff what does the Saleen kit that you have come with? Is it new bushings only or does it include some sort of handle as well?

Hey paul do you have the necessary tool to get the spring off of the front if I was to order a set of springs? The back springs are a no brainer I suppose.

Actually, it is a little adaptor block that you install in the actual linkage. No new handle. It does have a few bushings, I think. I installed it in dec 2005 so I don't really remember. I still have the install instructions but they are at home in my GT file for insurance.

If you put on the front springs I would NOT put on any type of spoiler since you drive your car daily. You would be tearing it up in no time.

I dont plan on adding any front spoilers at this time but I am also planning on using the steeda lowering springs that are supposed to lower your car 1". Not a drop it in the weeds set up as I feel that lowering your car hurts the 1/4 mile efficiency a bit due to weight transfer.

Congrats. When are you going to do the install? It takes all of 15 minutes to do it.

I will be installing this afternoon as soon as I pick up my son from school. I'm sure he will want to be involved in the install. He can also help take some pics.

I am particularly impressed with the way the tunes smoothed out the throttle. The car used to seem like it was a bit jerky when you were getting into the gas but now its smooth as glass. Revs to the moon and I even think that the exhaust sounds louder.

Howdy duuuudes. Sorry so Quiet. I started a new job today.

Congrats David. The tunes are awesome. You're right, the biggest thing I notice was the throttle. The car actually ran smoother. Nice surprise. As far as your springs, yeppers. I have spring compressors. No sweat. Just let me know when you want to install them. I think I did all four of mine in less than 3 hours.

Interest tidbit on the saleen shifter kit. I would not of thought that would interfer with the drive shift. I learnt sumting nu.

Jeff... You must really be gunning for Old Blue Mare... Now gears?! Man I better get on-line and start ordering!

Well I am thinking about LCA's and a shifter as my next mods followed by gears and springs. I have also been thinking about doing some body mods as well so that I can have some bling to match the go parts.

I think I will price this week some Lemans style stripes from some local decal stores - Fast Signs, Signs Now, Etc.... . There is a guy that did the lettering on our delivery trucks at work that might cut a deal.

What color are you thinking? I'm just a little scared of decals. I would want to do the paint route if I do stripes. BUT, of course it's a lot more expensive. If you do go with decals, go with 3M brand. From what I read they are the best/last the longest.

I'll be there. Don't forget we're installing my gauges after the meeting. All BMMC members are invited for a tech day.

Yeah I agree with the 3M brand. I have decided to go with a dark grey metalic I think they call it gun metal grey to match the color of the bullitt wheel spokes.

I will try to make the BHF hopefully I can get someone to cover for me for a couple of hours.
