Just a lot of poor PR and quality issues. Basically there is a lot of rippoffs and lies going on from time to time. It's a real shame too Will the owner is a nice guy but I think he got the greed bug.

Car DX is fine if you don't know a spark plug from windshield wiper fluid and don't care about how much anything cost. They use to be real good but got greedy.

Believe me I know... I had him price out a couple of items for me... way overpriced! Plus I dont think all the Knowhow is there. I prefer to get my info from guys like you and most the good info I get has been from Modularfords.com... very technical guys and most know pretty much all there is to know about our modular 3v's. Oh also Ebay has served me well

I concur with Paul and Dave. They used to be fair in their pricing and quality of installs, now they are more sloppy and are WAY overpriced.

Example: Went in asking about Tri-Ax shifter from Steeda. Was told they can sell meone for the same price as the Steeda web site plus tax. Ok that sounds good. Oh but the Tri-Ax dosen't come with a shifter handle that will be an extra $35. So ordered from Brenspeed and hey what do you know it DOES have a handle and you know what it didn't cost any extra.

We don't know it all by any means but we're pretty good with a wrench. CAI, UDP, Springs, drive shafts, shifters, buffing, we done a lot. We can even do wiper blades when pressed!

Sorry to hear that they have gotten greedy... I personally have seen it first hand. Speaking of the triax shifter... been trying to decide myself if I wanted to go with the MGW, Steeda triax, Pro50, and Hurst. Hurst I heard is a little knotchy and more for looks... heard nothing but good things about the triax and pro50 and heard the MGW is in a class of its own.
