There is nothing that the manufacturer of those wheels could say, show, prove, offer their studies, offer their science, offer their engineering that would make me think they were safe.....not here in the pot hole capital of the country.

Snow.....home bound again, well I'll go to the garage and see what I can do to the car.

( I cannot be held responsible for the new appearance of my car, way to many home bound days )

I wonder if Jeff could ask around with some of the guys in the service dep. at BHF and see if anyone will install gears and how much. Or I wonder if Mr. Hurley would give us a break on labor as I am sure that thru Ford it would be $500 per hour with a 10 hour minimum or somthing crazy like that.

You lucky dog, let me know when you do a test run and what the improved performance feels like.

Well I am planning to take several pictures of the install so that we can post it on the tech page for the club. Unless Paul or Jeff already have pics of their install for the CIA. If not then I will proceed.

Look out... Bob is going to rub that paint right off!

The BHF idea is great. I was wondering the same thing. Need to chat with Randy.

David- I got some pics when I did mine. But, please go ahead and take some. Always can use more.

Paul,
Have you ever installed aftermarket gauges? I have an electric water temp and an electric oil pressure set of gauges. I am clueless as to how to install these things. Can you help me out here?

Thanks
Jeff

Sure. I can help a brother out! You normally hook them up to the sending unit. On these new cars it may be different. We'll need to do a little research. Let me know when you want to do it.

Yep... just send all pics of your cars and/or naked girlfriends to my personal email.

After doing some research, I have found some info that will help us do it. I do need to buy two small parts but will have them before we do this thing. Why don't we shoot for Saturday the 10th after our meeting? I don't have Mock Trial practice that day. The main research came because I want to retain the use of my stock units. It would drive me nuts to see gauges that are dead. The biggest pain will be the oil pressure unit. We'll need to change the oil, meaning drain the oil pan to prevent leaking all over the place. This works out fine because I will be changing over to Royal Purple full synthetic anyway. I have decided not to put in the windage tray. I found out that our engines already have one. I am trying to exchange it for something else.

Jeff where is the oil sending unit?? Are you saying we'll have to drop the pan? If so, I know we can find an easier way, like chasing wires down and just tapping in to it.

The 10th sounds good...
