Try clearing that out and seeing if it comes back.

Schematic for the Analog input for the BB is up. This is untested! But it should get us started.

This will allow for 0-12v input into the BB 3.3 analog input. Of course a scalar will have to be written in code for this.

I will order the parts and test as soon as they get in. Feel free to reuse this design in your own projects.

EPAS harness arrived today. I will probably test wire EPAS on the weekend to see if there are any challenges before I put it in.

I am selling my Black Box, modified directional cruise control switch and wires with pins needed to make the directions steering wheel switch work. I wrote up a detailed install that you can follow to make the gauges work within the new LCD gauge cluster. If you need help with the install I can walk you through it on the phone or install everything for you for a small fee if you are in California. $350 for everything listed or $400 if you bring your car and I install it for you. I'll reprogram your PATS on your vehicle too for no cost ($90 value).

All you need is to buy a Premium, Boss, or Shelby LCD cluster.

FYI, if you do not install the 2013 ABS module, track apps will not work. The ABS module cost $194 plus shipping from Tousley Ford.

PM with any questions, I take PayPal and shipping will be via flat rate USPS ($15).

Actually the ABS module is still $184....the $94 is a mistake and a 2012...

Depends on whether you want to flash your PCM or not. Let's say you do flash it. VCM II tool from Aliexpress.com is $110. Left steering wheel switch is $25 and the 2013 ABS module is $194. Since your an auto, you will want to buy a used or new 2013 shifter. I have no idea how much this will cost. Jim a few pages back on this post describes how he wired up the new shifter and works perfect. That's $329 without the shifter and new or used LCD cluster.

Figure $700 to $1100 depending on how much you pay for cluster and whether you want to flash your PCM or use black box. And you also have shifter to contend with on automatic.

You can pm me for more info, but I pretty much covered everything for automatic owners in the other thread. If you really want the select shift (kind of neat) I can help you with that. But if taking out the inner fender and running wires around is an issue for you, go with the black box. Then you don't need to worry about the select shift, reprogramming the PCM or getting a proper tune. It is the cheapest way to go.

Thanks for the responses..... I already have the vcm2 and I would prefer to use the black box. I have my car tuned and don't want to mess with that. I don't mind running wires if it is needed but would rather do this the easiest way...lol. So the black box will give me the select shift also?

Still having a hard time finding the clusters. Can we get them new from ford? I think I read somewhere that they won't sell them?

You can buy a new cluster from Tousley Ford. Finding a used one is hard. They will charge you a core charge, but I thought they were still taking non premium cluster as cores. I could be wrong.

Car-part.com lists quite a few clusters for sale. Even a 2013 gt500 is available. You need to call salvage yard and make sure it has LCD display.

You will not get select shift using the black box nor track apps. The box will enable the digital guages only.

You bought your vcm from same seller as rest of us ??? That sucks. I think they have a warranty. Contact seller. I have many hours of use out of mine and still working fine.
