'13-14 Cluster into '10-12 car (with TrackApps) retrofit

Wow dmhines, congrats!
AjTurbo, got me looking. Also look at the tach between 6-7k rpm. Looks like tape covering hash marks or old redline as well. Def at least a different face on that cluster.

Well done!
Now what do you guys wanna do about the cruise? (If anything)
Also, Dan, will you give the J2534 another go since you have V86 now?

IDS did download the calibration files for the ABS module so I see the naming convention. Perhaps IDS will do the same thing with a PCM calibration .. ask if VIN is correct and the we can download a 2013 calibration. My only concern is we need to keep the VIN number correct ... especially in GA where I have emissions testing.
I also need to trust the Clone VCM to program a PCM. Perhaps I will reload the correct 2012 calibration one of these days to see if the clone tool works 100%.
Also .. the VCM seems to click quite a bite while doing its stuff .. is it normal for the VCM to make noise?
Forgot about the J2534 .. I'll try that again and see what happens.

Zero .. did you get the 2011 PCM? Are you gonna see if it supports a 2013 Calibration? That may solve the last of the issue if it works.

After the PCM is flashed over to 13 cal, we can change the VIN back to your original in the VID. Thats non issue!
I think the clone VCM (from what i've read) will do ok flashing the PCM. If you do brick it, I can help you recover it with one of my tools.
It is common for a VCM (even the original) to click often.

With a 2013 calibration .. We will get 420HP Stock instead of 412HP ... LOL ...
I will need to revert back to stock before I mess around with any of that since I am running a custom tune for my 2012 Calibration.

Your tune would be overwritten by default.
Once we go to 13 firmware, we would revert back to 12ish calibration. (With minor adjustments). I've already got a tune merged together I'll send you for your X3.
I'm waiting to hear back from @ajpturbo to see if he got his VCM.

The 13-14 GT500 redline shows at 6250 until the engine reaches operating temperature. The area that looks taped actually is illuminated red when you start the car. Once the operating temp is achieved the light disappears and the redline becomes 7,000 for the overrev feature on these cars.
Anyway. That's why it looks the way it does. Not tape.

EDIT: Just noticed the 2013 cluster does not have Boost Gauge like prior years.
