Anyone know how long you have after the car arrives at the dealer till you either get it or lose it? The reason I ask is that I ordered mine, they swore it wouldn't be here till late December or early January which worked perfect for me. And now it's going to be here early October while i am busy finishing up my degree to get my Masters in December. I plan to put 15000 down but that is based on me selling my current mustang, which I don't really have time for. I have special license plates and have 30 days to transfer them to a new car after selling or I lose them so I don't want to sell too soon, but worry it might not sell before the new car actually gets here. I don't need the two months, just wonderding if there is like a week or two slot where they will hold it. I refuse to trade it in.

I heard that the blend date on the window sticker is not necessarily your actual build date, which can be a few days later. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

The long wait is almost over! I was at a car show yesterday walking around viewing some of the sweet classics (really good looking 71 black and red gt along with some others, I'm such an oldies guy) when I saw my dealer. He was showing off a Shelby they have in stock and had just fired her up to let someone hear how amazing it sounds. I was going to go talk to him but didn't want to interrupt. Later I was checking out a 70 red an black chevelle (I know it's kind of a hated car to mustang junkies but it was B E A UTIFUL) when he walked up to me and said, "Ya know we've got a really good looking silver car sitting in our shop right now" I just about flipped. He took me to see it and I was completely speechless, my girlfriend said the look on my face was priceless. Apparently it hit the rail cars and trucks just right and showed up Friday night. It's going to get prepped and service checked Tuesday morning then she's all mine. I'm a wreck now that I've seen it but can't have it, this is the only time in my life I'm ever going to hate a three day weekend. I have to send a shutout to Deysha though for being such a great help during all of this, she truly is an amaing asset to this forum. I'll put pictures up as soon as I can too. To everyone out three waiting I know it sucks but when you lay your eyes on these magnificent machines it will make you forget all about it. Trust me.
