Was ripped off by ebay. Intake never came, and buyer protection sucks. I reported the auction as a fraud. Pissed about it greatly.

Currently sent the car to the a/c shop to fix it once and for all. Didn't tackle the job myself due to my lower back disk injury.

Another Mr. Gasket product epic fail. The NEW thermostat this car had took a dump. It was squeakly clean and all, but didn't work. Added a radiator flush, but there's still some grime left. Going to use my trusty old school flushing product tomortow. Then replace all coolant hosrs & new 180° superstat. That should take care of it. And once more, mr gasket=crap.

Checked the compression this morning. All cylinders are between 135-145 psi. Guess the problem is elsewhere.

Took another look @ the car. Ran a KOEO and KOER tests and pulled out two codes. One for the VSS (wich I knew was busted, speedo works randomly) and the CTS being below voltage parameters. Also the radiator fan looks kinda slow, even on high speed. Ordered a new coolant sensor w pigtail connector from Tasca Ford and tomorrow (my day off) will shop for a replacement fan motor, plus I'll add an additional one, or two, to the front of the condenser just in case. Tired of this overheating crap. I'll run the car without A/C today, since it runs fine as is.

Update:

Factory fan was almost locked w rust.No wonder radiator fan was slow. OEM lasted 20 yeats On my first test drive the temp gauge went past middle after like 5 or 6 miles w a/c on hihgh speed. I added a cheap universal fan in front of the condenser and it helped a lot. Will add a Maradyne brand fan latet on. Those move quite a ton of air, especially the 225 watt models.

Very nice. I need to get some gauges for my truck, but that's another story.

Nice additions

I'm planning to buy the Autometer pod that replaces the dash clock, since it's dead anyways. The NOS solenoid and pressure switch would come in handy for either fuel or water inyection when boost is added later on

Manual seat track arrived yesterday. Wish I could install it today, but the clouds have decided to pee. Stupid rain.

Seat tracks are still pending, but at least they're not rusty anymore. Car started acting up really bad yesterday. First thing was the radiator fan was running with the ignition switch in the "run" position w the engine off. Thought it wasnothing and drove the car. When going back from my sis place thetemp needle eas kinda weird, some fuel odor was pressent in the car, and the engine wanted to stall, and weak performance while driving. Turned off the a/c and the engine still ran bad. When I got home a burnt rubber stench was felt too. Made a quick check and the overfliw tank was still full, and no visible leaks. Seems like the high speed ian't activating. This thing won't end.

If this keeps up, I may start thinking of trading it in for something newer and less troublesome sooner than later.
