thanks! The paint is an 'el cheappo" I got from the local grocery store. I'm debating if I'll keep it like that or clearcoat it. And on the upper intake part I may add some detail in some areas like the cover plaque.

But oh, the smiles per gallon would go up a ton if I do And seeing some cheap s197 mustangs & mopars in the classifieds won't help either

I noticed that the V8 stamping was put upside down I contacted the seller and didn't believe there"s something wrong. I even sent him pics! But since it would cost me close of what I paid for them for returning them back, I forgot about it. I'm between getting a plain set or just toss them in since the stamping would't be seen on the drivers side and barely visible on the passenger side. 🤔

Gave them a little polishing

The alternator pulley will not be used since I already have an overdrive one installed.

The alternator pulley is on debate now. The current belt is now too long. I think if the alternator and idler pulleys are exchanged with larger ones it may fit. I already have a larger idler pulley stashed somewhere. If I feel better this weekend I may attempt that. My health has been a bi**h since the begining of this year.

Update!

The transmission is almost out. I already took off the h pipe, starter, torque converter nuts, bellhousing bolts (minus one, so it won't fall off), oil lines, drained the oil, oil dip stick, driveshaft and loosened the crossmember side bolts. The h pipe was a PITA since one of the downpipes decided to get stuck between the right header and the engine block My buddy Jason helped me to get out the driveshaft bolts with his much better lifting floor jack. And working on dirt sucks 👎
