Lol!

I looked @ the rotating assenbly and I've only seen one bent rod, no. 8 or no. 4. If that's the case, it would be an easy fix. But the 351 is soooo tempting.

I'm over the fence on teh 351 right now, since it's an expensive deal right now ($900+ on parts alone) so it may be a no go for now. I have to think it over very carefully.

Soooo, I've decided to rebuild teh 302 for now, and add some performance parts during the way, as money permits. The shortblock takes first priority. The crank needs to get reground, since it has some ninor wear due to the bearings being shot. After the rotating assembly has been taken cared of, next would be the valvetrain components. I plan adding a new cam w lifters and roller rockers, since the rockers are worn out to begin with, but this will have to wait 'till the end of the year. Guess what'll be my Christmass gift to myself In the meantime, other stuff will be repaired/replaced on the car, like the leaking brake master cylinder that has rusted the engine compartment area under it cleaning and painting the engine bay and repair some wiring that has been causing trouble before. I scored some rear shocks from my best friend to replace the worn stockers mine has, and while I'm at it, a complete detailing of the undercarriage woild go as well. The game plan is set.

Located an 88 fox 5.0L on the local classifieds, and sent the seller a text. The guy called me yesterday and gave me a good deal for it. If everything goes well, I'll get this thing running sooner thanI thought.

Bought the stuff yesteday. The guy has a really nice 95 GT w forged internals and a Ford racing b303 cam w 1.7 roller rockers. He offered me a spare b 303 he has for$80 that he bought for another project, but never finished it. Things will get interesting on my five-oh if I score that cam too

Told the guy I want to see the b303. If it's as pristine as the crank, the trigger will be pulled

Ordered the parts yesterday from Summit. Bi metal bearings all arround, ARP head bolts, Mahle molly rings, Ford Racing gaskets, Melling hi-volume oil pump w hardened shaft, Felpro valve stem seals, fuel injector seals and engine block brass seals. They already shiooed the order this morning, so I guess it will arrive in two days.
