Don't know if the store's insurance will cover it, but got a police report # just in case.
and tied by the marbles.

Got a replacement dash panel and a cheappo volt gauge to cover the other pod hole.

Also put LEDs in the gauge cluster. Hope that solves the suckish night ilumination issues.
Still haven't bought a replacement stereo. Too much stuff got in the way.

Looks like my dim iluminated gauge days are gone. What an improvement!
But those OEM bulbs sure have stood the test of time. 20 years and still work. They went to the spares stash

Saw this yesterday @ work:

For 3 grand it's really cool
Ordered an alternator OD pulley to crank up the amps @ idle since the hi speed of the fan sucks so much current w the a/c on, and the amp, and the other aux rad fan, etc...
Got a new pronlem. Belt's too long now
Looked @ it closer and it needs replacement anyway so no big deal. It's a little rotten looking lol.

Got a stereo for the pony from fleabay. It's a cheappo boss, but it's practically brand new. Works like it.
I'm debating on changing the color hue of the car. I would love to make it look close to this one:
