Made some tests and found out that no matter what I or the sensors did, only low speed was activated by the pcm. Jerry-rigged the high speed wire into the low speed feed and cut the low speed wire off the fan plug. Preliminary test showed the gauge on 180° but ran out of gas for further evaluation

Car's still acting up. Slowly crawls the temp needle up, but surely. And a heavy fuel odor get's inside the cabin.

New pads &resurfaced rotors, and a little touch up paint on the calipers and control arms. Stupid rust spots

Actually, I tried to use the car for my errands and, surprise! no brakes looks like the master cylinder took a dump while I pushed back the caliper pistons. Crappy vatozone parts

Replaced master cylinder since last post I made on this thread. Brakes went out during an emergency braking situation. Hopefullu the car stopped, but afterwards there were no binders. Lost all fluid but managed to get home safe. Gotta check it later today to see wtf is busted now.

it never ends does it?

No brakes sounds pretty terrifying though. I don't think I've ever experienced that

I have been without brakes many times, so I've kinda developed some mad skillz Had to go kinda slow on the highway in no more than third gear and using the hand brake with the brake pedal while downshifting into 2nd & 1st. As long as you know what you're doing you'll be fine. Something that most prius drivers don't know lol.

that is ridiculous lol. I don't think I'd have the guts to drive a car w/o brakes at all, let alone on the freeway lol

the closest I have to that is when the II's steering went out on my way home from high school as I was making a right turn. Had to get out of the car and physically turn the wheels with the help of my friend Pete. I think I made a normal suburb intersection in like.. a 12 point turn lol.

Finished the fabrication of the left rear brake line on the diff. Since the other looks very rusty, I'll make it too, and give the whole thing a pressure wash and apply some paint while I 'm at it. Probably would change the gear oil too, since I suspect it's still the one that was added from the assemnly line back in 1994.

Dropped the car by my friends shop so hopefully the a/c issues will be done with once and for all.

A/c fixed. The previous shoo that worked on it obviously nevr worked on one of these cars before. They broke a few things under the dash, like the vaccum rod from the fan door, and the fan door itself, plus lost some of the tetaining clips of the evap. housing

Yeah lol. I've done it in the Tiburon I had, and I didn't break anything, and before that I did it on a cherokee and the sentra i had. Didn't do it to the Mustang due to my stupid herniated disk. Should've had, but didn't

Just ordered a pair of Pilk Audio dxi 104 woofers from Crutchfield. They'll work just fine with the "dog house" enclosures I have been saving for some years now. The 1,000 watt Kenwood amp I scored a few months ago should move them just fine. Still need to buy new door & rear deck speakers, a pre-amp, and RCA wires to install everything. I plan of using two 400w amps for the voices. It will be a nice, balanced little sound system. At least for the moment, lol.
