Got the parts delivered to the painter last weekend at last! Hope he finishes them before the end of this month, so I can drive my car again. I sooo much miss the torque!

Thanks guys. I'll be the third

I really want to see it glossy again, even if it's one piece at a time But there's a problem. To go and register the parts in the DOT,/DMV to get new labels, I may need to replace the hood later on, bec it's not the original one (it was changed back then at 08) so it's label doesn't match my vin I hope the body shop has the receipt from the junk yard, if not, I'm screwed. If that's the case, it will be time for the heat extractor hood I've always wanted for the car. Christmas bonus can't come any faster

Very pissed off with this car right now. Looks like it's alergic to rain. Left me stranded in an intersection. No idea wtf went wrong with it. Missed work today because of that.
I was completely soaked btw trying to get that thing running again. I'll check it this Sunday again.

Yeah dude.

Gave it another shot w my buddy's help. Spark is going out strong now, sprayed some carb cleaner into the throtle and cranked it. It made a small attempt to fire up, then nothing. It's blowing out the airbag fuse when you turn off the ignition switch and when we pressed the fuel test valve, not much pressure was there, even when we hear the fuel pump running. I need to get a fuel pressure tester to be dead sure.

After adding a rebuilt dizzy and a new ignition module, it didnt run. Towed the heap home and got a fuel presssure tester gauge. A constant 40 psi show up, so the fp is good at least. Moving the dizzy fully to one side the motor ran a few seconds. I restarted it and ran. Was letting it warmup, then suddenly died and hasn't ran ever since. Next possible cause coyl be the CCRM, wich is prone to fail. Pretty ezpensive part. $175 + core. This car has pissed me off really bad this time, and it's gettinh close to be parted out one of this days

After some struggling with a screwdriver and a prybar, I managed to get out the CCRM (the connector plug screw turned but didn't come out) It smells kinda funny. Tomorow I'll try to open it out and see if it's shorted.

You"re absolutely right.

CCRM arrived today. Put it in the car, but couldn't start it due to a dead battery. One thing after the other. Hell, even my eyeglasses broke in half today. What a ****ty Monday.

Been using the pony as DD. It's working at least. Still has the missfurung, plug wires must be bad, since they have been there since 06 and the battery died on me last night, has been there since 07.
