There are some aftermarket headers that fit them quite well and leave enough access to the plugs, like BBK shorties for example. I've done some googling and looked for info on other forums as well. They're the best flowing factory heads, according to what I've read so far. They can be found on 97-01 Explorers if I remember correctly. And the classified for the $500 460 is still there But that will need some extra parts, and I don't think it will bolt on to my transmission bellhousing But a 385 series engine on a sn95 should be a ton of fun
and im pretty sure they make motor mounts for that swap... at least they did for foxes, i dont imagine it being too different for sn95s

Would getting something like this be easier? Then you wouldn't have to drill out the injector bungs.
They're the same parts The advantages of having a fox body variant

Took apart the upper end of the engine to have a look on the valvetrain to determine if the damage was there. Here are some pics.
As you can see, everything's fine. Diagnosis, bent connecting rods, two at least from the sound

When I took off the upper plenum, there was water still inside it. I re assembled everything back to be able to move it. I'll need to move/throw away some stuff in the back of the house to be able to get that ****. out for the rebuild/replace.

Still looking @ the parts I may need on various websites. Plans are to put a #19 cam, roller rockers, new lifters, oil pump & shaft, pistons & rods, and if money permits... I plan to liven things up a bit for this thing
