Been using the car as a DD for the last week and a half, and has been really well, except for it still blowing the turn signal fuse and that I broke a headlamp replacing a bulb Those crusty old replacements it got from a parted pony have seen better days. Still deciding what headlights I'll put into it. Not thinking on projector type ones, since most of them are a POS in the quality department, but I've seen 1 piece sets on fleabay that look kinda decent.

Got a hint from my dad of what's blowing the turn signal fuse. The power seat track might have something to do with it, since the switch failed once, and the lumbar bag switch looks like it overheated in the past. I tore it apart and made it work when I put the replacement seat track switch I got on ebay for $35 last year. I'll check it out this week to see if one of them failed and is causing the overload on the circuit.

Pony down!
I had to work @ 2:00pm, and I was on the Mustang on my way during this huge amount of rain. Was almost no visibility, and when entering the highway's secondary street on this big turn, downhill almost at the bottom, there was this huge puddle of water that was fed from the upper avenue's water. I was able to pass it, but then the engine shut off at the end of it. It fired up and died again, then it didn't crank. I had to get out in the middle of the rain to push it. Great feat since there were a line of cars behind it, and the car tended to go backwards. I managed to get it out of the way. I tried to fire it up a few times and it ran with this strange noise, then I moved it forward under a bridge and the noise sounded even worse. I popped the hood to see if it threw the belt or something, it was OK. Then I thought "maybe the PS pump ran out of oil, OK too. Ah, then I thought "the alternator got wet or something on the bearings" so I fired it up and this sounded from inside the actual engine I shut her down and inspected the tranny oil, was fine, but the engine oil wasn't it had water drops on the dipstick and on the oil fill cap it was like Nesquick Water came through the intake filter I called for a towing service plan I have and after half an hour nobody answered the phone. I looked on my wallet for a towing service # i had, and after another 30-35 min the flatbed tow truck arrived. I left it on my grandma's place until I can fix it between tomorrow or Tuesday.
My almost new oil change went to the garbage, but I hope my engine is OK.

It sounds more like the rockers had a bath through the PCV vent hose that goes to the intake. I hope I'm correct. If not, it's gonna suck tenfold.

Would the car run fine if you capped off both sides of the PCV? I broke the hose from the PCV to the intake, and Ford doesn't have it anymore, so I replaced it with the biggest vacuum hose my local shops sold, but it isn't rigid enough to keep shape when that much vacuum goes through it.
I'm sorry to hear about your car, and hope too that it turns out alright.

update
Changed the oil & filter on the car. Not much water was on the oil, but unfortunately, enough went through the intake. The engine keeps making the knocking sound, more notorious on the left bank. Most possible diagnosis, bent valves I got it towed once more to my house, but at least it was no charge to me. Glad to have road assistance on my phone plan. Too bad when I needed it the most, it was a no go for the huge amount of emergencies that day.
