They're rated @ 650 lbs/in. so they're quite stiff, like Ford Racing springs.

see if you can get some stiffer rear springs too. the last thing you want is a lack of balance. your rear will be all over the place.

I'll just put them on and see how it behaves. Remember that on fox Cobra's the rear springs were 4 cyl ones and gave better balance than the stiffer GT springs.

hmm interesting. i coulda swore pete mentioned to me that the fox 4cyl rears were stiffer than i expected them to be. which is sort of a useless statement without numbers but yeah.

stupid alcohol... its like hackers in my brain deleting months of information!

Really though it depends on how you want your car to drive and how you want to drive it. If you trying to make it handle better, then stiffer springs in the back are something you would want to do otherwise you will have a very lively rear end going through the turns.

I'll just wait and see how it behaves since they're not as soft as the fox springs, and they're progressive rate from the factory. The front ones are shot anyway, but the rears are fine. If I notice some weird behavior, I'll swap them later.

They're in the verge of death, so why not blow them and be done with it :P KYBs will go in there when $ permits.

i wouldnt install them until you got better struts. they may already be doomed but your performance will not be improved that much, precisely becacuse they're blown

And you'll already have them out So you might as well change them all at once. But I understand waiting for the $ to come around.

The springs are mine! Cost, $20.50 plus a whopping $48 S&H via Parcel Post Next, new struts, spring isolators, tie rods, control arm bushings & ball joints. I need more $$$!

I was looking in google for the missing pages of this thread. It was 21 pages long. To sum it all up, the posts were about the alternator rebuild TWICE, an elusive coolant leak, how my AC was fixed TWICE, caster/camber plates install, head unit swap, power steering pump rebuild, smog pump delete, broken drivers side power seat track, and trying to get proper ignition timing by ear since the harmonic balancers marks are almost gone
There was also some thoughts of future plans for the car, like a 351w swap, Cobra brakes, and possibly an 18" wheel swap
