I'm thinking that's a RR junction. You are so close! Was in Colton a few minutes ago.

Susan
Wonder why Kzinti's tracking found it in North dakota, but we're still showing it in Fostoria, Ohio? I'm sooooo Confuuuuuused!

I am going through tracking withdrawals!

Bill - what do you think is "constructive placement"?

Here's what I've found out (sorta long, but defines what it is):
(In a nutshell, it's waiting for the Convoy Carrier!)
ITEM NO. 350 - Constructive Placement
1. If, after a Train crew has been called for duty at the Final Crew Change Point, the Train
cannot be positioned on Shipper’s Loading Operator’s track at an Origin due to any cause
attributable to Shipper or Shipper’s Loading Operator, in whole or in part, that Train shall be
considered constructively placed for purposes of Item 340.
2. A constructively placed Train shall be held at the nearest available hold point as
determined by Railroad. Immediately upon arrival of the Train at the hold point, Railroad
shall notify Shipper or Shipper’s Loading Operator by radio or telephone, such notice to be
confirmed in writing, or by electronic means of communication, of the date, hour and minute
that hold time begins. Immediately upon departure of the Train from the hold point, Railroad
shall notify Shipper or Shipper’s Loading Operator by radio or telephone, such notice to be
confirmed in writing, or by electronic means of communication, of the date, hour and minute
that hold time ends.
3. For purposes of computing the Loading Time of a constructively placed Train under Item
340:
A. the time elapsed while transporting a constructively placed Train from the hold point
to a Loading Facility shall be excluded from Loading Time; and
B. if the Train must reverse direction to reach an available hold point, the time elapsed
from the Railroads’ receipt of the hold notice to the return of the Train to the point of
reverse direction shall be included in Loading Time.

I CAN'T WAIT to worry about railcars, constructive placement, and the time elapsed from the Railroads’ receipt of the hold notice to the return of the Train to the point of reverse direction (in whole or in part).

What if we all wrote letters to Ford? I remember "hopefully this week..." Was that last week?

I remember that, too. The key word was "hopefully", and yes, I think that was last week. I told Kzinti that I called Customer Service and what the nice lady told me. Maybe he can at least find out where my car is along the inspection process... "hopefully".

Tom- If there's any light to all this, at least you're more informed than the other 545 Quality hostages. Granted, not all are custom orders (meaning there's no real person tied to the other end of those cars), but I'm sure a small percentage of them are. And to boot, to those who did order, they probably have no idea that their cars have been already built and being held captive at the plant; they're just waiting for the Dealer to call them when it comes in.
Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

I know... my dad says I have too much information. I have a friend who ordered a Firebird and still didn't have it after 12 weeks.

Mine is still in Armourdal with no change since 13:15 yesterday, if that makes you feel any better.
I am just worried about it saying "Bad Order" I have no idea what that means.
I agree ignorance is bliss

Hi guys - will you read my question in a new thread "front plate mounting"? Do you guys know what I can do? Bill?
Bill - I can't find your Zaino post again. Will you repost (or email me) the links and all the stuff you bought. I guess I wasn't on the ball quick enough. Chris is calling me from Orlando telling me to do all this pre-prep stuff (nevermind, found it)

Apparently Zaino is the polish-of-choice.

I remember reading not long ago that Zaino says the paint will be cured by the time the car is received and will need a polish ASAP. When I have a little time, I'll look for it.
In your case, you might need to think about that polish. I bet your paint's cured
