Maybe my ETA is 2/10/2007?

Actually, I've only been waiting 8 weeks (exactly). They said 6-8 weeks, and I knew that was an estimate. If I got the car on my first ETA, it would have been 4 weeks, 2 days.

If I never found out about Kzinti, I would have no idea there was even a problem. I wouldn't even have started asking questions until week 10 or so.

Oh Tom!!! You will get it. But it does look like you're going to win the bet

OKC - maybe it's from a different carrier than UP? Have you tried to track it online?

I can track it at the UPRR website, says it is at ARMOURDAL, KS ?? Never heard of that and can't locate on any map.

it is the switching center in Kansas City. Bill's car and my car both went through there. Expect it to sit for 12-24 hours there before moving.

Some of the "cities" are actually UPRR station names and you won't find them on the map. I have been able to find some stations by googling them, but not alot of info. Just take it on faith and wait for the next update.

If you're in OKC, you should have your car tomorrow, huh? What's the ETA?

(p.s. "hook 'em"!! ) hehe

OH GOD knew I was gonna jinx myself.
Read what it said when I traced it just now:
"Bad Order (Train Line-Air Hose,A-Coc k, etc.) ARMOURDAL, KS 02/21/2006 13:15:00 "

No wonder she sat there for the last 3 hrs.

She's broke down it sounds like. lol

Ahhh, good ol' ARMOURDAL, KS! That's so last week! Yes, it sat there for a while...

OKC: 'Bad Order'? Don't jinx yourself yet, these updates are wierd at times, sorta like the ETA.

Bill - I am betting WPALSPRIN is West Palm Springs.

See, Firefox is good for something:
Departed 7528 886148000 SP714 WEST PALM SPRINGS WPALSPRIN CA

I see! I tried running it up on Yahoo maps, but came up empty.

I'm 2hrs away from Palm Springs (by car), dunno how long by rail (I'm sure much longer). Mira Loma ETA is getting later, probably because it'll soon be entering the populated city areas. The railcar was jamming yesterday through the deserts of AZ, I clocked it up to 60MPH.

What is up with 20:08? It was just 17:55 earlier today. Mine switched to tomorrow.

I talked to my dealer today and requested that they not drill the holes for front lic plate and not put dealer decals/emblems on the car. I guess I need to go buy some Zaino, huh?

Like I've told eveyone, that ETA is whacked!

I also requested no holes im my front bumper AND no cheap wax; just a wash.
I already have my box of Zaino ready to go! I got the ZFX, Z-2 Pro, Z-6, Z-7, and the Z-16. I'm planning on up to 3 coats from the get go, that'll put the Torch Red on fire!

I didn't even notice that

Although I do not like UT, I was sure glad you beat the Trojans.

I was kidding. Not a big UT fan - yet. We're transplants from Tennessee and just haven't gotten the fever. The Rose Bowl was fun to watch though. I say "yet" b/c we may become fans if the daughter enrolls there in a few years.

Bill, I need to jump on this Zaino bandwagon. I don't know anything about all those letters you just spat out. I do know I need to be planning on waxing this baby next Sunday! And I'm thinking maybe I'll throw on my bikini and pose like your avatar when the car comes in. I figure at that distance, it'll be hard to tell I have about 15 pounds on your model.

Maybe I can wear my Ford blue oval tube top like Tom's avatar instead of the bikini. hmmmm...

Here's a link to Zaino's product page: Zaino

After reading and seeing all of the TMS members Zaino'd Mustangs, I was sold! Also check out the Photos link on the webpage.

And maybe I'll do the same with my Aloha surf shorts! Well, then again...
Either way, we'll definately have to post some pics!

Die hard Sooner here , but I still like pictures of Women in bikinis regardless of where they are So along with Tom & Bill I will be awaiting pics.

Don't worry, I'll be 40 as well come Nov. I feel alot younger trying to keep up with my boy and all his activities!

It's all good though!

Susan

They must have given me the wrong number! It wasn't even built until 2/7, so couldn't have been in Ohio on 1/17? Now I'm really
