IRS, don't sweat it, it's coming. As for the other things you've mentionned, i do agree with you that they need to offer telescoping steering wheel, driver seat memory.
I'd like to have the option for the power folding mirrors. I think it would be a nice feature to get.
I would also like that they give the GT bigger ( wider ) tires, this car has always been under tired.
Also, they must get rid of that 4X4 look.

smaller overall exterior, while maximizing interior dimensions, soft touch plastics and a lower ride height with an aerodynamic evolution of the Mustang grill, otherwise I'm good.

Power folding mirrors are really nice. Had those on my 2011 f150. I personally like the stance of the car. I'd like to see the rear raised even a little more. Give it that cobra jet look. And yes, wider tires is a must too.

More!? I think you might be the only one that wants that

Better difference in sports models. I like how the Germans do it. The base is pretty pedestrian but the sports packages just get better and better. Sport suspension is lower and firmer. Some times there is better interior options if not then they are just a tick box away. Not sure why the Mustang or any American car isn't like this. Even Honda does it. I think Hyundai as well.

Well with Hyundai I'm only thinking the Gen coupe. With Honda, the Civic and Accord have HFP parts options but the Si is factory lowered and equipped. I guess you could say HFP is a lot like FRPP parts though. Either way I feel Ford could dish out better performance options or at least boast the FRPP stuff better. At least Honda advertises HFP.

My wishlist, based upon practicality for the GT
IRS
200lb weight reduction
Fatter tires for the GT
Direct Injected
450hp
28mpg
Brembo brakes standard
Base MSRP stays within $1,000 of the 2014
Of course, an updated sexy sleek and aggressive body that looks "Mustang" but also looks more exotic than ever before.

Very little gap - tire to wheel well
Level suspension - no rake
Brembos all around not just front

Fixed piston calipers should be doable with the next car getting IRS.
I never realized how much the C-clip axles in the current setup move around until I decided to put Hawk HPS+ pads on my car.
They certainly look sexy but I think the best reason to have Brembos all the way around is the ease at which the pads can be replaced (provided you don't have wind the piston back into place on the rear).

I agree the wheel gap does need to be addressed, i mean camaros and chally's hardly have any. It would be nice to get some better pads on the brembo's because it really does make a difference with pads like Hawk.
The rake however i like simply because thats one of the few traits that scream american muscle
Peoples wish lists are starting to narrow down and seems like everyones got the same general idea. I just wanna see a full camo mule already
