The faux cap seems like it will be something else too, maybe? The liscnese plate dress up seems odd. Not sure I understand it...

I get the reflectors, but I'd HAVE to tint them out. Most curious to the new tails tho, it'll either pull it together or make you wonder.

 

i really like the headlights and bumper, i wasn't a believe in the concept of adding the GT500 front earlier but in person I think it will look really good. although the grill surround sticks out farther the actual length of the GT500 is the same as the GT (according to fords website) so the bumper actually doesn't stick out farther which balances the overall look.

However i am very interested to see how the low tech looking grill fog lights mesh with the really cool high tech looking LED and HID headlamps on the std GT grill.

 

Is it just me, or does it look like they smoothed out the "kink" on the bottom edge of the '10-12 taillamps?

 

Interesting... but unremarkable, IMO. Every change that I see is not one that I prefer over the '10 style.

It's just a tweak..

 

I agree with Steve, they look smoothed off, not as much angle. Which is nice but the old tail lights didn't kill me. I liked them so this should be interesting. I'm also ok with either head lights. I just hope that the GT500 snout doesn't make the car look oddly proportioned. Especially without it being lowered any. The right sized wheel and trire combo are a must to pull off that extra nose.

Right now I am just kind of curious. Nothing more or less.

Candy canes stay (narrower) as do the sequential taillights

 

I think so too. I think these tweaked taillamps look a good bit better.

Bums me out that you can't drop them into the '10-12 model though. I'd love to get rid of the candy cane look. From what I can tell, I'm pretty sure they dropped it in favor of a single reverse lamp.

 

agree to most comments.... not liking the front end. Looks V6'ish to me. Thank goodness my 2012 is coming next week.

I still hate the HID headlights! Looks cross eyed. I wonder if you could put the 10-12 headlights on the 13?

I'll reserve final judgment until the reveal. But for now I'm glad I got an '11. At least exterior wise. I want a '13 dash...

 

I can't tell, is the pedestal spoiler the same? I actually like the wheels on the CS spyshots, but it's kinda funny I saw some similar wheels on another new 2012 car and thought "hey those kinda look like the 2010-2012" V6 Mustang wheels. I just don't remember what that other car was off the top of my head. Anyone have an idea?
