Boy am I in a pickle. My 2012 Mustang GT is due to arrive at the dealer on October 21 and the 2013 model is due to be revealed only weeks later. I'm at the crossroads. The only thing that I'm sure of is that I want a retro style Stang before the all new model debuts. For me, the rear tail lamps are not an issue, it's more about the front end and hp changes that interest me.

 

well it will be april when the 2013 deliveries begin, is it worth the wait and passing on a car built to your specs? oh and all the incentives out there right now wont be there for first few months of the 2013. Def a tough choice.

I think the chopped fogs are just a cheesy way of attempting to make the car look "meaner" (ie: a faux "scowl" effect). The headlights of the Challenger are the same way.

 

Curious if there is any chance that ford reduced the ride height for 2013 a bit, maybe .5 inch to snug the wheels up a bit. it seems from those with aftermarket suspension there is not a tremendous difference in ride quality even from those with the 1-1.5 inch drops

 

**** they must have this thing locked down tight! Less than a month from reveal and hardly any spyshots. The 2010 and 2005 weren't like this at all.

 

Or maybe there aren't any spy shots because they look exactly the same as the '11/'12s.

 

Well there really isn't any need for test mules in the new body style since it is all cosmetic and if they need to test anything they can use the windtunnels for that mostly
